Picked this massage studio based on other Yelp reviews. Received a massage from Kris, she was awesome! Yelp, you totally delivered. I struggle with pretty extreme low back, hip and leg pain due to herniated discs. I had a flare up a few days before my massage that literally laid me out- no bending, no sitting, turning, lifting, staying in one position for more than 2 minutes, blah, blah, blah. I've had a massage from Kris (once), Alicia (3?) - they are very good and I would recommend them both. So while my review is mostly about Dana (I happened to start working with her because Alicia was on maternity leave), I'd like to think it reflects on the studio overall, for having such exceptional therapists on staff. I've been struggling with chronic neck and shoulder pain and mobility issues for more than twenty years - an 8 or higher on the pain scale. Pain meds have been a staple for me to simply get by. Got my first massage at Renew today from Andrew and it was exactly what I needed. I really hurt my lower back and had some upper back tension as well, and he really worked everything out. I can't believe how much better I felt afterwards. I would highly recommend this place and plan on going again. Definitely one of the better massages I have ever received.
I had my first massage at Renew today and it was wonderful! I chose this location based on other Yelp reviews and it did not disappoint. Dana was very friendly and attentive. I came in with significant neck pain and felt relief within 5-10 minutes of her working on it. From the outside of the building, you would never guess there would be a massage studio inside. However, once inside, the ambiance was nice and calming. I will definitely be back!
I'm a runner and a single mom to a 1.5 year old, which both take a big toll on my body! I had to stop running for a few months due to injury and now I'm starting to train again. My wife and I had appointments yesterday and, once again, were very happy with the service received. My wife had seen Andrew in the past and he once again had her wanting to come back for more. Thank you. I had seen Alicia in the past (who did a great job) but since she is on maternity leave, Dana worked on me. I've been going there over a year, 10 months of that while pregnant, and it's been a really great way to work out some tension. I like that the office is quiet and understated-- you aren't paying a premium for unnecessary details, but it is still pleasantly decorated and always smells like lavender. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Online booking was super simple, and I was able to schedule a 90 minute massage only hours before my appointment time. The studio itself is simple and very private- definitely not a "spa" atmosphere, but I appreciated the intimacy and the professional, down-to-business feel.
