Alicia not only completely got rid of a nagging pain I have had in my neck/back for several weeks (I could literally feel the knots dissipating over my 90 minute massage), but I had no idea the physiological benefits of massage done properly could be so great. I slept better than I have in a very long time, sugar and caffeine cravings are lessened, everything just seems to be flowing better. I am doing this every month!
I always get a little jumpy when people touch my back - it's a fear of breaking my back, weird I know...it's okay to laugh. Well Alicia dove right in and was perfect pressure, no ouch that hurts or are you just poking my back? It was an awesome massage, I almost feel asleep in my state of relaxation. After I was done with the hour I had wished I got the 90 mins - but I took advantage of her great deal and got an hour for my friend for the holidays. I'll be back!
Alicia deserves a five-star rating, because she does an excellent job. She's one of those very rare massage therapists who kneads out the sore spots and finds the ones you didn't know you had - like a medial intuitive. Her demeanor immediately puts you at ease, making the massage much more therapuetic than a typical rub-down. She's great. You need to see for yourself.
Alicia is fantastic. My nagging back pain from slaving over a desk 40+ hours a week was remedied after a 90 minute session. She listened to me as I explained my pain and then focused in on those problem areas with a great combination of strong hands and soothing touch. I would recommend her to any of my friends!

Alicia delivered exactly what I needed. I am also a massage therapist, and I am pretty selective about who works on me. As soon as I came home from my massage, I was inspired to come to Yelp and give Renew Massage Studio a 5-star review! I was sore from lifting weights yesterday, so I was very happy her pressure was just right, and her pace was slow.
