I rented through RENTERS WAREHOUSE - Columbia Property Management. I was an excellent renter. I was never late on any payments, I kept the property in excellent condition and I only contacted them a couple of time for minor maintenance issues. Upon move out, I had property and carpet professionally cleaned, so imagine my surprise when I received my return deposit for less than a 3rd of what I paid. This is what I was left with after paying Renters Warehouse $2,200 to find us the perfect tenants for our home. They cant manage their way out of a box let alone manage a property. We now have a lien on our home as well as thousands of dollars in repairs and the "perfect" tenants they placed for us didnt pay rent the last 3 months. I don't write reviews very often but I feel compelled to give a hearty thank you to Jessica H. and Bryson G. They went out of their way to ensure my home issue was resolved without haste. While I was getting help I heard another customer voicing their concerns rather loudly and I felt sorry as these two individuals because they can only do so much. Worse rental management company I've every dealt with. Raw sewage drain into the basement at no fault to the owner since it was a problem from the utility side but Renter Warehouse's (RW) handling of the situation is atrocious. In summary raw sewage was in my basement for a week or so before they got approval to cleaned it, carpet and drywall (section) was removed from the basement making it un-useable since I am waiting for repair men to come fix it (happened in May, is now July and not fixed!), I am not getting updates u... read more
I was a tenant at 7846 Dero Dr for two and a half years in Pasadena. The stay itself was fairly eneventful. There were a few problems with the property over my time there and the issues were somewhat dealt with although in a very slow manner as it seems the owner of the property preferred to do his own repairs/half ass repair the issues. Worse experience of my entire life, from the start it went horrible and only declined thereafter. Went to view a property was on time while the "agent" was late and went to a completely different location assuming that was the one I'd be interested in viewing. Rescheduled next day to view and explained our credit was terrible he had texted me the qualifications and none included having a good credit score he even said credit doesn't matter. As a tenant of four years... I've only had the best experience with this management company. The yearly renewals were easy to do online. Their website for bills and maintenance was super easy to use. I've always called if I had maintenance issues and their response and flexibility for appointments for me made me feel they were accommodating me. We had mice at an apartment rented through renters warehouse. We let them know about it, and they sent an exterminator out but it never got rid of the mice problem. We obviously didn't want to live there with mice so we found a new apartment and moved out a month before the lease ended. We figured that since there were mice, they might be able to waive the last months rent, but no.
