Not positive. The property was under construction. This should have been made clear upon booking so that we could have opted out. When we walked into the lobby it was completely torn apart and a staff meeting was taking place. The person leading the meeting seemed to be offended that I had interrupted, even though it was in the lobby, and asked in an accusatory manner what I wanted. Glad it was only for one night, the function of the room was NOT made with families in mind. There is NO counter space. The pedestal sink in the bathroom is NOT accommodating. There is only a shower in the rooms. This is not kid friendly when you have little kids who take baths. There isn't any overhead lighting, the bedside lights were limited in their range of light. Mountain Lodge Ridgway charges high prices for a shoddy services. We were there for four days and there was no maid service. On one of the four days, clean towels were left for us upon our unmade bed. They are probably understaffed, but for the price we paid, I expected much better. It was disappointing. It is in a good location and the staff is nice.

This property is under major construction - check the status before you book. This property is under a major renovation. The roof is being replaced so there is constant noise from that during the day and the lobby, restaurant and bar are nothing but a vacant shell right now - the check in is done in one of the guest rooms. The staff, while pleasant, are absolutely unwilling to allow any type of early check in so don't even think about asking, despite the fact that you will be very inconvenienced by the construction. Double billed me. Constuction is a mess. Not worth $120 let alone the $350 they plan to increase. rude staff nothing
Good for sound sleepers. Too noisy, seemingly little sound proofing. At 4 AM our first morning there, we were awakened by repeated opening / closing / latching of a squeaky door. In general, there was too much nearby inside building noise that interrupted our sleep. Ear plugs weren't enough. The time breakfast coffee and snacks were scheduled to be set up / put out is too late for many travelers, including us. (We saw many people leave prior to the start of this service.) Fair I have stayed here with previous owners and it was great. I booked here for the onsite food but the website and Google were not updated that the restaurant was closed until June. I was changed rooms prior to arrival where there was a co-joining room. The sound was awful as I could hear everything in the other room. All cable/t.v. was not working so I had to leave to watch the NCAA basketball game. So not ideal. I woke up the next morning to construction going on to the room next to me. The new renovations.
