Three days ago, I hired Right Now Heating and Air for an HVAC tune-up. Despite my AC working fine last year, the technician informed me that the compressor was failing this year. During my appointment yesterday the technician told us there were 3 items needing addressed. He provided me with photos and a video he took but there is no clear representation of an issue. He even shared a screenshot of a text threat between the Tri-Cities technicians asking if the part was compromised. Another tech responded and said, "I don't know, the video is too shaky." If we could give this company 0 stars, we would! We had our gas furnace go out in below 0 degree weather. I called Right Now Heating and Air as a family member had recommended. During that night of it breaking, our pipes froze and busted. So we were dealing with a broken furnace and plumbing issues. We needed to act fast and get the furnace replaced. All I can say isDo Not Use this company. They are overpriced, They dont inspect their work. They plumbed a toilet to a vent pipe and not the sewer system. So when the toilet was flushedit shot everything out into the back yard. When they were called about it, on a Friday, they didnt come fix it till Monday. They have been the biggest headache to deal with from day 1. Their first visit they didn't even know what they were supposed to be doing entirely. It took them 3 more visits to install, adjust, tweak and get everything working properly without freezing over on me. 3 inspectors came out and 2 had things to say about their work and one informed me I had been scammed and never got a new furnace installed like they were supposed to. Right Now heating and cooling is a bait and switch operation. They promise a 25 year warranty for the compressor in my heat pump and when it went out they charged me a $119.00 diagnostic fee which I could understand but when they told me the compressor was bad they told me it would be a $1900.00 fee for labor and fees for ordering the part. Seems like a scam. It would have only been $900.00 if the compressor was only 5 years old. Nothing but trouble. 2 months, multiple technicians, 2 electricians, 2 different restoration companies, and $31,000 debt with a power bill that is still $400+ each month. No accountability. They ignore phone calls and try to leave you high and dry. Everything they promised was a lie! They do not own up to their mistakes! My biggest regret. I called them to get my a/c working. They charged me $684 for a capacitor condenser that costs under $100. I had two other reputable vendors come out. They both said they would have saved me over $400 from what they charged. Their prices are outlandish, service is poor and all they want to do is sell you a new system. Even the parts they use are inferior. Save yourself a lot of money and don't use them. I wish zero stars were an option.
