I wish I could give more than five stars. My daughter's cat Wally was a big part of our family. He was my parents cat and when they passed my daughter took him in. When she relocated to Stamford she took Wally and when she shopped for a new vet she chose Rippomam. Wally aged and showed signs of decline. The entire staff was kind and Dr. Lazarus was very informative as he explained the procedures for my dog thoroughly. He included the pros and cons of various options along with his recommendation. I highly recommend him and his practice.

I also want to express my gratitude for the doctors and staff at Rippowam Animal Hospital, who were able to take us on zero notice to triage our dog Simba, act with care, compassion and urgency. Within 30 minutes they found Simba a neurologist with availability, who got us a prognosis and into surgery in less time than our other ER visit last night. Thank you so much for caring for our fur baby as much as we do.

Lulubear the peekaboo is soooo lucky to have Dr Lazarrus as her vet. It's been almost 2yrs and I can say 1000% I have received nothing but the best; his reputation is impeccable...Ive talked to so many pet owners and everyone has heard of him; nothing but kind words and some of them who are desperately waiting for an opening. Dr. Lazarus and his team have been taking care of our Labradoodle for 15+ years. They have offered consistently excellent experiences, with helpful, sincere, and educational Vet care. They sincerely care about our animals' welfare. We particularly appreciate that Rippowam's primary philosophy doesn't seem to be performing a "cashectomy" (procedure to remove all the cash from the customers wallet). I can't speak highly enough about Rippowam. They are the definition of quality care. They took care of our senior lab as though she was their own. We adopted her when she was older, relocated and they only worked with her for about 2 years. Every single time, they provided the most empathetic and quality care. On December 31st, we took our girl Minnie (cat) for a tooth abscess. Minnie was 11 and has always been a very healthy girl. We were so blessed to have her in our lives, and were (and still are) devastated over losing her. She brought so much love into our home. Recommended by a family member, took my oldest cat in for a sudden issue, she was seen right away and the was given medication to resolve her problem. I hoped that she was thoroughly examined because other than this one incident, she still has sporadic wet cough that wasn't brought up to me as to an underlying issue? Will be bringing it up to them again.
