RecommendedThis was the 1st time here with my three XL Bullies and I drove over an hour to go see them. I had never been here before but I must honestly and truly say that I have never seen people, employees, volunteers so kind, compassionate, and selfless. They were so caring and loving and happy and most importantly took great care of my fur babies. I will recommend them to everyone and anyone. We love and appreciate all of you who helped us. Can’t say enough good things about the Rippowam staff and Dr. B! I’m not usually the type of person to write reviews, but- As someone who used the same vet for 15 years I was extremely hesitant about making a switch, and I could not be happier about my experience bringing my pittie in to be seen for allergies. She is 70lbs and although well behaved, very strong, and does not like having her ears cleaned. I can’t speak highly enough about Rippowam. They are the definition of quality care. They took care of our senior lab as though she was their own. We adopted her when she was older, relocated and they only worked with her for about 2 years. Every single time, they provided the most empathetic and quality care. Dr. Lazarus and his team have been taking care of our Labradoodle for 13 years. They have offered consistently excellent experiences, with helpful, sincere, and educational Vet care. They truly care about our animals’ welfare. We particularly appreciate that Rippowam’s primary philosophy doesn't seem to be performing a “cashectomy” (procedure to remove all the cash from the customer’s wallet). We really respect Dr. Lazarus and his team’s levels of expertise and care. Highly recommended.
I have been using Rippowam for many years for my personal dogs as well as the dogs that come into my Rescue. The doctors are amazing the staff simply amazing. Dr. Lazarus has performed several ortho Surgeries on a few dogs who were injured and have wondered healing and are successfully adopted. Thank you for all your care .
Amazing vets that have worked miracles on my senior cat, Alice, when she was sick. I also boarded Alice there for a week, it is affordable and the care is phenomenal. Highly recommend their vet services and boarding services! The staff is very friendly and there’s overall a nice atmosphere when you walk into the clinic. 5 stars!
This hospital is by far the best in Stamford. Dr Schutts attention to detail and Dr. Lazarus care for the animals is amazing. We almost lost our dog and due to their quick thinking and their knowledge, she is with us today. We could not recommend this vet more. They are honest, caring and thorough . Just what you need when it comes to your Wiggle butts.
