Went here for anniversary dinner. After taking our drink order, the first of our 2 servers disappeared for 20 minutes. Drinks were ready at the bar - we could see them sitting there waiting to be delivered. When our second server came by, she said the bartender had made one of the drinks wrong. Highly doubtful, likely just an excuse for having neglected to bring our drinks. Sent one of the drinks back as it was on ice, which had melted for 20+ minutes. Both drinks were excellent. The food, the beverages, the service, the aambience were all excellent. This was our first visit; we plan to return when we next travel to Milwaukee.
We have been several times and are never disappointed in the food and service! Our server was amazing and helped us select a fabulous wine. The food was fantastic, the service exemplary. It is a bit of a tight squeeze in the dining room - my husband was seated next to a pole that he had to climb around to get in/out his seat. I had to scoot my seat right against the table to accommodate anyone needing to walk behind me. Aside from this, we love the place and will definitely be back!
Yum! This is a special time of year when RB has their heirloom tomatoes! The Chef's tasting menu started out with amazing fried heirloom tomatoes with a very special mozzarella cheese with fried basil. OMG. Then a house made rustic past (the best kind) with an amazing heirloom tomato sauce. Then, the flounder. Are you kidding? This was one of my best meals of the year.
Ristorante is a great place to eat... Food is fantastic. We do enjoy Ristorante and go there once or twice a month. Only issue at this place: service is somehow inconsistent: could be good, efficient and simple, sometimes too obsequious and sometimes not enough... A real contrast with "Lake Park Bistro", another Bartolotta's restaurant, that has amazing food, amazing and consistent great service. Overall, Ristorante is a great place for dinner because the food is fantastic...
This restaurant is a the perfect mix of great food, lively atmosphere and great service. We have eaten here many times and the food is always delicious and the service is prompt and friendly. We especially enjoyed our waitstaff at this visit as she was efficient but not too busy to interact with us. The menu makes some changes seasonally which keeps it fresh. Highly recommend it for a enjoyable time.
Overall good Italian food. Good for couples or small groups.
Had an absolutely exquisite dining experience. My husband and I have definitely put Ristorante Bartolotta on our private restaurant list!!!!
