In spite of good reviews from other sources, the food and service were just average.
The food was really good and exceeded only by the outstanding service.
As usual, we were very happy with our evening at Ristorante ...staff, wine, and food were all excellent. ( my husbands steak was just a little bit too well done). We always love it here, entertain here and will be back!
The total experience was terrific. We arrived at 5:00 and sat at the bar. The bartender was perfect and made our Manhattan and old fashion just great. Leo our waiter could not have been better with his attention and suggestions. Over all it was one of the best dinner experiences in a long time. Congratulations. Bill and Maureen
This restaurant has impeccable taste in food and wine. The wine suggestions with the meals are perfectly complemented. And the service! From the maitre d getting you settled and checking up on you, to the wait staff checking up on you several times, I felt pampered. Suggestions were made and nothing was missed. Perfect harmony. My date and I had a lot of fun and will continue to return.
Every once in awhile we wonder west into the hinterlands of Wauwatosa from the northeast side of Milwaukee to our favorite Italian restaurant. We again, were not disappointed. Great menu, great service, excellent meal. maybe we should wonder out more often?
As a first time diner at Ristorante, my party and I were excited and anxious to dine there. What a wonderful evening filled with great food and wine. We chose a few dishes on the menu and shared them. For a party of 3, we split 2 small pastas (risotto and duck ragu) and 1 entree (grilled mixed seafood plate). The food was amazing, wine was divine! We actually were there planing our trip to Italy! Tuesdays they have half off bottles of wine and $25 off any bottle over $100. It's a must do if you like Italian food!
