Super ambiance and very thoughtful food presentation, along with great service make Ristorante Bartollotta a hit!
We continue to be impressed by Ristorante Bartolotta and the whole crew that makes it all happen. We are weekly to bi-weekly patrons and it never gets redundant or boring. This time, it was Nathan who greeted us with a smile and Alix and Jeff who served us drinks and dinner at the bar. With the possible exception of Harbor House, this is the best Bartolotta restaurant in Milwaukee. We loved the atmosphere, and food and service were great. We were a party of four, and not one person in the party complained about anything. To the contrary, everyone enjoyed the dinner very much.
Nothing but the best,I ate like a true gangster and gentleman. Fillet cut was delectable.

The food was fantastic and the service was outstanding. The only issue I had was that some of the tables were only 18" apart. We could hear everything that was said on each side of us, and I am sure they could hear what we were saying. We had a light dinner and a couple of glasses of wine and our bill came to $120....for that price I wish it was a little more private or intimate.
Due to a failed attempt to get a reservation for Valentines day, I decided to get a make up dinner the weekend after...and geesh was it worth it! This was the best meal I've ever had in the Milwaukee area. The food was incredible, service was second to none(first time with two service people), and was a great romantic evening setting. Ristorante Bartolotta is an excellent venue for that special evening, fantastic food prepared and presented with an elegant flare that makes that special occasion even more special. Once seated my only challenge was in deciding which dishes and which wine to select. The wait staff are very knowledgeable with regard to the menu and well qualified to offer wine selections to complement your choices. My husband ordered the filet which he said was excellent. I ordered a pasta dish and was disappointed. Sounds silly, but it wasn't the pasta quills on the menu, but rotini instead. And it tasted about the same as a similar dish at Noodles. Plus, it came in something like a cereal bowl, which personally, was a poor presentation. Just wasn't impressed at all with the flavor. Ordered a caprese salad and again, nothing impressive and certainly not worth $9.50. Oh well. Probably won't go back.
