Your installers made a mess in the carpet removal, debris in the hallway, elevator, and entrance and exit door. Which I sent my son to clean up because the building manager called about the trail of debris. I had to have my son clean this mess up immediately , it took an hour and half with the shoe vac, that’s all I had. When the job was supposedly finished - I pointed out to the installer that the 3/4 by 3/4 shims were missing on the folding doors, he told they woul be fine, then he opened and closed one side two times , an... read more

Messed up my stairs, used hot glue on the carpet, and did not install stair nose as promised. Customer service from sales rep and Shannon has been awful.

Everything went well but I have 2 minor issues. 1. I was told originally that I could have the carpet installed very quickly, but then when I took another day to pick the carpet I wanted, they said I had to wait a whole week to order it, delaying everything by a week. I don’t understand why carpet can only be ordered 1 day per week. 2. I was not given an expectation for how long the carpet would take to install. Poor durability vinyl flooring installed, tears easily. Installed carpet has nails poking through making feet bleed. Carpet was supposed to be stain resistant but it’s not.

We recently worked with Rite Rug for a carpet installation, and while there were some positives, our overall experience was disappointing. The in-house home sales representative was great—responsive, accurate with the measurements, and brought a wide variety of carpet samples, which made the selection process easy. However, the installation process left much to be desired. Our baseboards were damaged, with not just small marks but actual chunks torn off. DO NOT WORK WITH THIS COMPANY! I am over 6k invested into carpet that was poorly installed, bound incorrectly, not stretched adequately and will never be repaired. Communication with this company (sales, customer service, scheduling, management) is NON-EXISTENT. Please save yourself time, money and hassel and go with ANY other carpet company. Over 20+ phone calls to accomplish absolutely nothing, be called a liar multiple times and have old staples, old carpeting, and ripples showing in every room, hallway and stairs. T... read more

Generally, bad experience. Installers were careless and upon replacing the flooring and carpet, they damaged the walls and baseboards. I had to spend hours repairing them. Furthermore, they ran out of quarter rounds for the baseboards and abandoned the job. Big mistake to pay in advance. They got paid and lost interest in us. Project leader almost never returned our phone calls. His boss got so embarrassed with his subordinate's behavior that he himself had to call us. Fortunately, there were two bright spots. I Bought a house from K.Hovnanian last March. Right rug installed our Armstrong rigid core vinyl flooring downstairs. One day in June I noticed a area were the pieces were they our connected one was higher then they other. I noticed when pushing on boards that they separated and it was scattered thru out house. I asked Brett from rite rug to look at it and he agreed There was a issue but never saw it before. Rite rug filed a claim with Armstrong.
