great location RIVER OAKS is centrally located between Coastal Carolina University and The beach.

Poor Customer Service Not given internet code upon checkin. No hair dryer in unit. Attempts to reach the office were unsuccessful and calls were not returned. The "King" bed was 2 twins pushed together and all beds were hard. No elevator for second or third floors. On the ground floor, we heard our neighbors upstairs. We did not request maid service, however, someone accessed our unit for the sole purpose of making up the king bed. Weird! Wouldn't book here again.
Would be great! If the amenities offered on the Expedia Site, Indoor Pool and WiFi had been available. I was told when I arrived that not all parts of the property have access to the indoor pools. "It depends on the HOA", that's what they told me. When I asked about moving to a comparable room with access to the listed amenities, the not so nice lady at the desk quickly informed me that they were all booked up, and If I wanted amenities I should have called them instead of booking through a third party!!! river oak It was a clean and great resort.just didn't gave anything for kids to do onsite.check was long ans slow.only had one person checking out and in people.
Awesome I enjoyed our stay at the Fairways of River Oaks resort. The room was mostly clean but I don't think they pulled out the sofa bed because we found toys most likely from the previous people. Very nice and equipped for what we needed. We were out most of the time except for sleeping. It was only a few minutes from the outlets, and the beach was not out the door but a short drive. Close to shopping The rooms were really nice. It was a nice get-a-way from the family.
Weekend Trip Very comfortable room, friendly staff allowed me to check out at 1:00.
Family reunion Had stayed a year ago and decided to go again. I knew that the units were individually owned and had some concern about what we would get. I was not disappointed as the unit was fine.
