Was that a roach!! Not bad you get what you pay for. It wasn't updated, saw 2 roaches, and the king size bed is literally 2 twin beds placed together which was very uncomfortable. other than that I really enjoyed my stay would stay again but without the roaches can deal with everything else.
river oaks Overall was nice for the price the room was a little dirty. The location is nice about 10 to 15 mins from the beach and Broadway. Service was ok they didn't seem interested in helping me when we first arrived and after we left they called 3 hours later and asked for the keys and never checked their own drop box. It was a deal for the money would probably stay again if the price is the same.
No Wi Fi The stay was great There just wasn't any WiFi in Fairways...... Other than that.......thumbs up
Nice Stay/Staff Not Friendly Nice location and the condo was nicely kept. We enjoyed it although the full size bed were two twin beds put together.
Good for short stay This is our second stay with River Oaks. This complex was much newer and in better condition than the first one. The pool was enjoyable and right behind our building. Your "king" bed is two twins pushed together with 2 sets of twin bedding. Don't think the floor was swept before we got there. The employees at the check-in desk aren't the most chipper in the business, but overall it was a good stay in a convenient location for the price.
It is close to shopping and beach Rented a 3 bedroom condo. Room size were fine but the beds were twins in two rooms and one queen bed made of two twins together. One of the twin beds was broken. We fixed it. Called hotel to send maintenance person but he never showed up. No indoor pool as advertised. There were outdoor pools. No maid service. Room rate were ok. May stay if as a last resort.
Myrtle Beach Vacation Pull out bed spring was broken and no one ever came to fix it. Otherwise great place. Will stay again.
