I enjoyed my stay despite what lbrought me there. Made great friends & acquaintances, the group & individual therapy sessions were what I needed to help kick start my sobriety journey.
Ro really helped me with opening up to express my feelings. They gave me the knowledge I need to help deal with the day to day issues. They explained I’m not alone in this battle with my addiction. I also found great friends.
I had the fortune of finding River Oaks when I was at my lowest. They took me in and cut me off from all the distractions of the outside and helped me focus on myself. With no phone or computer I couldn’t stay in contact with all my drinking and druggin buddies. They all forgot about me by the time I left River Oaks and it was easy to stay focused without any of them contacting me. The food sucked and the water was always cold. I had the best care at River Oaks. My yoga instructor Jen was the best as well as my therapist Christine. I thank both those ladies for my care .
River Oaks goes above and beyond for the client. The doctors and therapists care and helped a lot . The food is pretty good and the housekeeping does a good job. The TA’s really push you to attend groups .The yoga instructor Jen really cares. She made hard days easier. The nurses are devoted.
I've been to a river oaks two times and it was a life saver. I'm for ever grateful because they are a caring business that is all about saving peoples life. The first time I made it a year clean and then relapsed and had to get help, and I was able to make it back and this time I worked on myself more came up with a better aftercare plan instead of going home I stayed in Florida and went into sober living it humble me. River Oaks is an excellent overall choice for treatment. The property is situated on a beautiful campus with a serene walking trail and plenty of green space to enjoy the gorgeous Tampa weather. The residential facilities are furnished with pillow top mattresses and only double room occupancy. You only share a room and bathroom with one other client. This place helped me with lots of tools and most importantly how not to relapse and how I can keep trying and get better. Had the best therapist Tony Gonzalvez, great yoga teacher Jennifer and many more good people who fit me equipped with lots of Recovey tools. I am a certified peer support specialist and active recovery coach. I work for the hospitals and try to save lives. I couldn’t thank enough Riveroaks for giving me the best foundation
The staff were extremely attentive, the accommodations were excellent, the therapists were caring, and Jen the gym mama was there every morning for all the clients. Excellent
