I had a very positive experience at River Oaks. Staff was great. TA Tasha overnight, my therapist Ali, therapist Ian who taught psycho educational group really helped me in my recovery. It’s a safe place, the other clients were so supportive. Very comfortable, serene, pleasant, & relaxing atmosphere. I really had a great experience & 10/10 recommend.

R.O. saved my life. A wealth of knowledge shared in every group. The possitive feel of the facility combined with the sensire dedication of the staff were leaps and bounds above expectations. Christine and Brian bring an element of understand that kept the Veterans group engaged and positively impacted us everyday. 65 days sober thanks to all I came in contact with there. Stay away from drama and focus on numero uno. You can do it, one day at a time.

I’ve been at River Oaks Treatment Center in Riverview FL for 5 weeks. My experience has been exactly what I was looking for to get me ready to return to active participation in recovery from the disease of addiction. The atmosphere, staff and instruction have been great. therapy is great and the counselors are professional and well educated. the nursing staff works very hard and are polite. the entire staff is appreciated. I would highly recommend this treatment to someone else.
During my 30 day recovery I was able to express myself to my counselor , therapist and psychiatrist at will and without merit. The freedom to own your responsibility to yourself and community are great focal points River Oaks offers . The meals are great and the whole energy of River Oaks breeds success .
The facility is a bit understaffed due to covid and it will be hectic the first couple days trying to find what you are suppose to be doing. Once you get over that you won’t be spending the rest of your life here, you realize the schedule is actually super easy to follow. You also begin to realize the curriculum they teach you is exactly what you need. The staff they do have is very helpful and willing to do anything for you.
