I was manipulated and lied to. They told me I was going to a Spa. Once in there, Dr. Evans said "you're in here now, you have to jump my hoops to get out." I have no priors, he made me stay in there for six days. Never once did he look at me while there, and if you ask too many questions they tell your family your seeing things and you're not ready to go go home. Absolutely the worst decision I ever made was to reach out to this center for help. They completely manipulated me into an in-house stay by using leading questions and prompting me for answers that I was very uncomfortable answering, instead of outpatient services and I was forced to stay for two days. my mother in law went in for an assement she was there for a week. She was walking and doing things for herself, and also eating but since she has left from there and has come home she can't do anything at all..not even walk. I don't know what happened while she was there..but I don't like the results

I was recommended this place based on proximity and flexibility. The recommendation came from a different doctor's office. Long wait to be seen for an assessment. After an hour and a half of waiting in the cold lobby, I left without being seen for the assessment. The facility called 20 minutes after I left and seemed as if they were concerned but I think it was more about the doctor's office calling them than them being concerned about me. Thankfully I'm alright. Staff was calm and attentive.

I was just discharged from riverwoods. The staff are unprofessional, use foul language, and have no obvious training or know how to treat mentally ill people. There is supposed to be a schedule for group therapy on the unit I was in, no such schedule was followed. During the four days I was there, I had two group sessions with a therapist.
