My dog was bitten by a snake, I called beforehand to see about bringing him in & informed them he was bitten, I waited about 5 hrs. To then be informed they did not carry the anti venom, should have definitely been told this prior to my arrival.
Three grand of a broke college students college savings wasted due to lies from careless veterinarians. I thought we were supposed to trust and feel blessed to have vets, this practice is the exact opposite. Difficult to talk to, talked down to, and treated as if I’m worth nothing.

Money> quality of life for pets apparently. My own college savings thrown away. Recommend nutrition to waste money and make profit. Lost trust in veterinarians thanks to them never again. Talked down to. Looked at as if I have ten eyes. Any other vet would be better trust me. Never write reviews but had to cause I actually care about pets quality of life not money I make off of them and their owners.

They used to be the best but these days I wouldn’t recommend them to my worst enemy. It is IMPOSSIBLE to get an appointment, if you do want to get an appointment that’s not a month and a half out you have to basically try your luck at a lottery system. Our dog just got surgery today and I spent an HOUR trying to get through to someone… this place has gone down hill and I highly recommend finding a vet that cares more about the animals then it does about $$.

I will never bring my pup back to rocky gorge. the vet and the vet tech that brought my dog out after waiting from 4 am to 12 pm , they were both not helpful, no bedside manners. from 4 am to 830 am , I sat in my car, vet told me that my dog was okay , did not vomit again in the clinic , they told me at 800 that my dog needed x-rays , they called me back at 830 and they told me some tech was on their way to fix the machine because the machine had broken down. I have been coming to RGAH for more than 10 years. Over the past 2 years, I have noticed a huge decline in customer service and in the support staff. On top of the poor service Your fees have become outrageous Recently, I brought my chihuahua in for a nail trim & anal glands, My bill was well over 120$ for 10 min. for a tech visit. Over the weekend, I took my Silky Terrier Daisy in for emergency care. Daisy started throwing up Friday night and was taken to see her vet early Saturday morning. The vet referred us to Rocky Gorge to get Daisy urgent care. Rocky Gorge initially told us that despite the fact that Daisy had labored breathing and was severely dehydrated, that there would be a 5 hour wait. As the reviews on other sites can confirm, this place has lost its bearing. I had an appointment today, arrived and did the curbside check in. After 30-minutes I requested an update on when our appointment when be taken. After another 30-minutes and a few more texts we left. Sitting under the sun in your car with your pet for over an hour is terrible customer service. Apparently they are well known for overbooking.
"Dr." Mina Young is easily the worst veterinarian (not even sure how she made it through vet school) I've ever encountered. I wouldn't send my worst enemy to her. Shes incompetent, uncaring, absolutely ignorant and its a shame RGAH has decided to hire this ridiculous excuse of a human, let alone a vet to destroy the name that was built on such a solid foundation so many years ago.
