Bate and switch avoid. They use tactics like overestimating your roof pitch to add on costs. When they get called out they get very unprofessional.
Poor communication, Solar Optimum could NOT retain a project manager for my install, first attempt to install trashed my new roof, install had to be redone with roof repair, install crew spoke little to no English leading to confusion and errors at install DESPITE supposedly having plans drawn up and provided for the installation. Quality of product/service only made "Fair" rating because I opted for the highest quality equipment from outside providers.
If there was a way to rate this company with zero stars I would, as it is I can’t and feel that the one star is too generous for the experience. I will say that the solar panels are installed and operational but the experience to get to this point was the worst I have have had when hiring a contractor. The company uses inexperienced employees probably due to the wages they pay and I felt that the little I knowledge I have with solar was much greater than the people I was dealing with. What could go wrong did go wrong. The only time they contacted me without repeated attempts on my behalf was when they wanted money. Monitoring was never set up and I'm pretty sure that the grid profile is incorrectly configured for California. Recommended many people to not choose Solar Optimum.
I have called about 2 weeks ago to see if your co. installs solar system is small companies the said yes and toled my they send the information and questions by email and never did . It is my experience from your company.

customer services is not good. I took me weeks to activate the system.
Product and installation are good communication and scheduling is horrible.
