I spoke to one person and arranged for a call back a few days down the road. Never heard from anyone again!

I just got off the phone with a representative named Daniel Rollins. He immediately started pressuring me to make a decision without even coming out to our house to do a site visit to assess our solar and other electrical needs and was only quoting from the quote sent via EnergySage. He said it costs too much time and money to conduct site visits and can do all of the assessments via photos and information provided. The company would only send someone to do a site visit once an agreement was signed. Offered to answer the man... read more

I really wanted to work with these guys based on their reviews here. The bid submitted via Energy Sage looked great! A bit higher, but fair price, 103% of power promised, responsive sales guy. When I spoke with them, they then suggested I increase my system to 130%. Great! I was stoked! Everything went dramatically downhill after that. They sent me a revised bid, offering only 49% coverage even with the extra panels. Mr. Osder, we would have liked to work with you as well. It is our policy to have an agreement prior to conducting a detailed and costly site assessment. The satellite imagery from the software we use is great for giving us proposals, but as evidenced in your case, it is not always able to give us the most accurate information. After we selected Solar Optimum through the EnergySage marketplace, we worked with sales person to get contract and financing done. All good. Then the guy came out and when the plans for our system were delivered, the project was designed to deliver 74% of our historic need as opposed to the 100% that was initially promised. When we called - multiple times - to get more information on this, no one ever called us back. We are now starting the process all over

If there were a 0 star rating, I would certainly consider it. Very disappointed by salesman George and the company he represents - Solar Optimum. I saw salesman George less than 2 weeks ago for a solar with battery purchase quote on my roof. Waited 2-3 days but no quote. Then I contacted Ashley via email (she was very helpful), who got in touch with George and I finally got my quote that evening. The last week has been a real struggle to say the least. Decided awhile ago to get solar installed with Solar Optimum, based mainly on these reviews. After they measured my roof and did their assessment, they submitted their proposal. I contacted them back asking a few follow-up questions and had a couple concerns I wanted addressed.... and this is when then they disappeared. I didn't hear back from anyone for a few weeks, even after attempting to follow up myself multiple times. They called me back with some good options upon request for a quote. Then the handoff with an actual onsite consultation never went anywhere as one employee did not know what the other was to do. Simple: come to my house, take a look (ie measure), then give me an accurate quote. Nothing happened after more than a week from the initial request.

I initially went with Solar Optimum because they matched the best quote I had, and they used high quality equipment. They were upfront that it was going to be a couple of months lead time to perform the install and I was happy with the sales process. They came out and did measurements and things were going well. I did have to reach out to them a few times to find out when the install was going to start after we received permits because I didn't hear from them, but this didn't seem concerning. We specifically chose solar optimimumbased on everyone's great reviews.they were not the cheapest of the 3 companies that we quoted but with the positive reviews and great warranty we decided to move forward.since our survey for panel installations 3 weeks ago there has been zero contact from the company.i have called for the last 2 weeks to speak to the designer and have never been put through.always left with the secretary and notifying her of the no contact.stiill no response.also after the first estimate with our salesma... read more
