Rosario was great. We had some concerns at the end of the process between communication with pennymac and the title company, Rosario was quick to figure it out and calm our fears. Everything closed on time with only some slight delay getting into our home.

The initial application process and follow-up was excellent which primarily is driving my Great rating and the loan did close on time as planned. However, there is room for improvement in the mostly e-mail driven process. Some instructions to complete tasks are not very clear and likely are contributing to some unnecessary confusion for the customer and the lender as well. The personnel involved are doing a very good job..the process needs to continue to improve for a better experience for all.

The only thing I had an issue with was the closing amount, which was not clearly communicated to me at any time (though I was given estimated closing costs a couple times, that were thousands higher than the actual cost), with the final numbers not communicated to me at all. I had to seek out the Title company myself to get that information. Other than that, while it was a lot of documentation to provide, it went fairly smoothly.

My loan officer was very pleasant and professional and had a lot of knowledge of the loan process and guided me through every step of the way until my closing

More patience and better communication so you don’t feel as if you are being rushed when being given information, specialists talked fast but overall did a good job

The process was quick and easy. Any questions I had were answered quickly so the process could keep moving along.

Communication with Rosario was a struggle. I am not sure if due to the East Coast West Coast thing but it was very difficult. This loan came down to the wire and we were not sure that we were going to close on time until an hour before the closing. This created a very stressful situation for me, my wife and my family.

Elodia Vargus had a very friendly voice and great customer friendly attitude. Rosario Lopez was very helpful but could improve on tone of voice and patience.

I would have liked to know about the required credit card payoffs with a little more time. I was given less than a weeks notice that another $6,000 was needed at closing.
