My mother has been in Rose Lodge for two months. The staff are extremely friendly and make a genuine effort to do their best for mum. There are activities organised to keep mum's brain active and she is encouraged to use her zimmer frame to keep her physically active in her recovery from a stroke. Nothing seems to be too much trouble for them. The place is warm and comfortable and everything seems to work. I like Rose Lodge the food is enjoyable and the bedroom and en-suite are ok. The staff are pretty good.

New home so as problems arise they need to dealt with. The room very good and en-suite is fine. Staff definitely do interact. Meals at first could be a little cold but they have improved.
The care at Rose Lodge is exceptional - something which my father was in great need of having suffered neglect in his previous setting. If you have concerns about staffing levels and whether your parent will be treated with the respect, attention and care that you wish them to have in their later years I would definitely recommend Rose Lodge. My friend came in two weeks ago and finds it very relaxing. The residential home is very friendly and staff are great.
