Inefficient, untrustworthy and subpar. Was denied my appointment after they made a mistake. Incredibly bad service. My appointment was scheduled at 9:40, got there at 9:42 and was incorrectly told "your appointment was at 9:30, we can't see you today we're understaffed." I show the email from their own website that says "appt from 9:40 to 10:10." They didn't care and still told me there was no space for my dog to be seen. Routine dental cleaning is $490 today (Oct 2025). The cleaning in 2021 was $290 and $325 in 2023. They did not inform me of the astronomical price increase because " it's not their job" to inform me of their price increase so learn from my foolish mistake and ask how much before you go. And if you go again a year or two later, be sure to ask AGAIN! My dog had no medical issues or teeth issues. This was just a routine cleaning.
I will say the vets here are amazing. I've been coming here since the building was built. But the one star review is for the atrocious front desk help specifically the middle aged women with dirty blonde hair. She was rude and disrespectful and seriously lacked customer service skills. Especially in an industry that is so emotionally tied she made sure to make one her customers feel poor, unwanted, and disrespected. To be honest, I am in shock off what happened. My dog dislocated his elbow on Wednesday, this has happened before so I had meds, and I also knew that I needed to just prevent him off moving too much while I search for a vet says we just moved here. This place hard great reviews and it's three minutes from my house so I took him there. The tech and the doctor were great. They put Leo in a splint and gave us medicine.. Really bad. It's a fine and pretty clinic if you just need meds, wellness checks, or to get your dog cremated (speaking from experience), but not if anything serious is needed. I've had two dogs that I've taken there. When you really need help, this clinic will turn you away. I understand there are emergency clinics, and my most recent situation fit somewhere in between the two. Absolute worst experience here multiple times. Gave them the benefit of the doubt over and over again but over and over again had repeated miscommunication and poor care. Had my dog go for a regular annual appointment and get a routine blood work tested for heart worms. Vet said everything was good and 10 days later I received a phone call saying I had questions about my dog being heart worm positive and I didn't even know my dog was positive. After moving from Colorado Springs to Round Rock, I brought my pup in with all his records to get some flea preventative. This was back in April. I gave a folder with his health history to the receptionist, and she proceeded to put his information into the system. When we went in to see the vet, he said Teddy was not up to date on his Distemper vaccination, and I proceeded to say yes he was. Had an appointment today, called to say we would be 10 minutes late due to construction and an accident. They said we will have to reschedule me. Who is that rigid? I work by a scheduling book as well, 10 minutes is perfectly acceptable. Level of care by drs is adequate by staff is not flexible. Whether this is a staff issue or management issue, I don't know. I will find new office.
After having several animals and going to the Round Rock Animal Hospital after 20+ years the new bunch fits in there since Dr. sundeck left are horrible don't go you'll be disappointed over charged and they can care less about your animal I had an appointment today I thought was at 5:30 when I got there at 5:30 they said it was 510 even though I had to wait for her for over 1 hour our the last time I had an appointment Today they told me she couldn't see our dog who has a serious ear infection they could've cared less there... read more
