After having several animals and going to the Round Rock Animal Hospital after 20+ years the new bunch fits in there since Dr. sundeck left are horrible don't go you'll be disappointed over charged and they can care less about your animal I had an appointment today I thought was at 5:30 when I got there at 5:30 they said it was 510 even though I had to wait for her for over 1 hour our the last time I had an appointment Today they told me she couldn't see our dog who has a serious ear infection they could've cared less there... read more
We took our cat here for what ended up being an emergency since our regular vet was booked weeks in advance. They did the basics, but if we hadn't taken the advice of friends who regularly foster hospice animals, our cat would've died. The vet who worked with our cat on the first day she came tried to push for tons of testing and even suggested she would need a very expensive biopsy. My puppy had to be put down 2 years ago due to distemper. If you know what that is, then you know it's a HORRIBLE disease that puppies get. It was a very awful situation. We just rescued the puppy a week prior and spent a lot of money for treatments and poured our hearts into this little baby. When his kidneys shut down and we had to put him down, it was so hard. Our normal vet, Dr. McLeod, was out of the office today. So we went to yelp and found this place on McNeil road. All our dog needed was a Cortisone shot as he is chewing his paws raw. When we walked in, they checked with the doctor to see if they could get us in, and said they would not be able to see him today. This was on a Saturday morning at 8 am. Poor experience-not going back. I was left in the exam room several times for long periods of time. They were unable to complete the test I came for so I was here for an hour and a half and leave with some meds that will hopefully fix it.
