Our 1 year old Retriever Mix had bladder stones, our other vet wasn't cutting it, so we were referred to RRAH. Overall, experience has been good. I was a little disappointed it took so long to finally get a diagnosis for her bladder stones, although, every vet we talked to stated that would be very unlikely for her age, even though it turned out to be the problem. Everything here is wonderful, except for Lori the lady at the front. The couple times I have been here she hasn't had a friendly personality. She cuts you off in the middle of you telling her the issue with your pet, and she just has a really unwelcoming demeanor. I sat by and watched her interrupt a couple of ppl recently. The lady came to sit beside me, and I asked her if it was just me or if she thought Lori was rude. Dr Johnston is amazing, she is so kind and loving towards my baby. Will answer as many questions as I want. I'm so glad I found this place and her. The staff is great as well and very helpful especially when it comes to dealing with our insurance. Everyone remembers us and says hi to my baby boy,I love the amount of love they truly have for animals. My retriever had torn her ACL requiring immediate surgery this spring. Today she is pain free and running like she's young again. The team did an outstanding job from start to finish. My littlest dog had eaten medication from a guest's purse after gnawing his way through the child proof bottle. This team once again handled the situation perfectly, providing care and observation. He's alive, though still a little too curious for his own good. A+

Dr. Johnston is extremely caring, kind and takes the time to explain everything. She will even do research on her own time if she feels she wants to look up more information and call to tell you what she found. We are really happy to have found her!

I was referred here by the Emergency Vet of Round Rock. They were very kind and let me know what tests needed to be run and how much it, and the treatment, would cost upfront. We had to schedule future visits to keep an eye on my dog's improvement but instead of making me see the vet each time they were considerate of how much it would cost and let me schedule with a vet tech to help me keep the cost down. I will tell everyone I know about this vet.

My experience here was wonderful. I had no problems scheduling an appointment and when I was running late, I worried that I would miss my appointment but they were very understanding and accommodating of my tardiness. Dr. Sarah Johnston was extremely personable and made the experience less nerve-wracking for my pup! He normally hates the vet, but seemed very comfortable around her. Class act all the way. They have been treating my mothers pets for 20 plus years and some of mine here and there. After hitting one of the emergency sites this place recommends and got Zero help and spent 200 bucks on crap that was not needed, I went back and they got my cat back to healthy. These people took time and help get my cat back to normal by listing and discussing what was going on and not just want tests need done. I was thoroughly impressed by this vet. Not that I've had a ton of bad experience at vets, but I've never met one like Dr. Sarah Johnston. She was attentive, helpful, and caring; all great signs of a top notch vet. The cat that I was taking in had a lot of issues, but Dr. Johnston provided a lot of insight into the problems we were encountering and gave us plenty of material to fix the situation.
