For the 3rd time, our recycling has not been picked up. Our garbage is picked up but not the recycling. I have to take time out of my day to call and notify someone. Rumpke will state that someone will be out to pick it up the following day and no one shows up. So I call in again and leave a message and NO ONE calls back. We are not even discussing that the trash pick up drivers will sometimes pick up the recycling too and mix it all together. So essentially we have 2 large garbage cans. Good luck getting a call back. As a residential customer with Rumpke for 2-1/2 years, my weekly trash has not been picked up 4 times during this period. Last time was this past week. Scheduled pick up was for Friday Sept. 5, but trash was not picked up. Next door neighbor's trash was picked up each of the 4 times that mine was not. Called Rumpke Customer Service on Sept. 8 and Sept. 9. My trash is still setting in driveway. All invoices have been paid on time. This garbage company picked up my TRASH cans and ripped out my grass with the machine they use to empty the trash into the truck. I have called their Garbage Maintenance guy named *****(Still No call back). Called there customer service line 2x and still no call back to fix my grass there employee destroyed. My garbage can did not get picked up Friday AM that was put out by the street Thursday PM. So I called customer service and was told it will be 24 to 48 hrs to get it picked up. Monday morning, I called and was told by customer service that the trash would be picked up end of work day. I called customer service at *** and they said pickup was still going on until 6PM. If it's not missed trash it's leaving half the trash behind...when you call them they say leave it out they will come back and pick it up...well that happens days later if your lucky..we had trash pick up for years on Tuesday But they switched us to Friday so now when they miss the trash its left for days to smell up your front yard.

Rumpke double charged me for 2 years to rent a trash can. When I discovered the error, I asked for one year of credit. They refused. So I bought my own trash can and asked to cancel my rental. They said to leave the can out on my curb or else they would charge me $50 if they tried to pick it up and it wasn't there. The can was out front for more than 2 weeks, at which point we had to call them again and then they picked it up. Then Rumpke charged me for an additional month of trash can rental. Rumpke has changed 100 per cent the customer service has dropped tremendously. I am in the process of cleaning out my relatives house that has passed away. I started in march and have been paying the trash bill. I had about 7 mattresses and box springs and a recliner chair to be picked up by trash. I have had Nothing but issues and have had to call the office about 10 times and customer service was very ugly, rude and very persistent.
