If I could rate them a 0 I would. Promises to pick up garbage by hand for over a month (this was after required letter was obtained from doctor requesting service accommodation for a disabled individual) never done. Several emails and phone calls. No resolution. Garbage had to be disposed of by another family member. A supervisor called and apologized profusely telling me they would follow up and never did. Discrimination against the disabled.

We followed every rule Rumpke had to accommodate a disabled individual with trash collection. The company refused to comply and follow their own policy even after multiple emails, phone calls, and photographs. Could not get garbage collected even with account being prepaid. Route driver and supervisor are discriminating against those with disabilities. ***

Horrible service!!I work for a Hospital and we never get our garbage picked up on time causing major issues.I wish we could share images

I was quoted $62 for trash and recycling. I was only ever charged that once. My **** went up every **** by a few dollars. By my last **** I was being charged almost $20 more than quoted and hadn't been with them for 2 years. When I finally called about it and asked about the price the first person told me she didn't know why I was being charged more, but someone would get back with me by the end of the day. I have been a long time patron of Rumpke and recommended their service to many in the area. Unfortunately, I am dropping my service to their untimely pick up of an extra receptacle (was told **** days before pick up, it is now 15 days w/3 more additional days before they may pick-up) and their lies. I can see by the Review Rating, that there are many, many more unsatisfied customers. What a SHAME!

********************** is a terrible. terrible, company to deal with! Many, many times I have had to call to say that both my garbage and recycling are very often *** PICKED UP! It happens over and over and over, despite many polite and courteous calls from me to question why my garbage/recycling is missed. Each and every time I am told that someone will come out and get it soon (within 48 hours) and many times that does *** happen! I've had their service for years with no problems. I called for a bulk pick up of a mattress and box springs. Was gonna be charged $20 for bulk pick up---Wrapped them in plastic as instructed. They would not take them b/c they were placed vertically by my mailbox. So I called and the rep said they would come get it the next day. They never did. Called a third time, paid $20 for a new zippered cover so the items would be "properly covered" and placed them horizontally and they still did not take them....a few not so pleasant ... read more

I haven't had recycling picked up in two months. I put the can out in front and they don't even come down my street. This has halted any recycling efforts I'm trying to do. I'm going to just bag up my recyclables and throw them in the trash. I pay for both to be taken and am not receiving what I'm paying for. Complete scam artists.

They have the worst customer service of any company I have ever dealt with. They haven't picked my trash up for 9 weeks out of this year. I have called them over 15 times and they still do not pick my trash up. They have no problem taking my money, but will not collect my trash.
