I moved to Federal Way and needed vet care for my senior cat in June of 2021. I needed to find a vet close to my house, as I knew she would need more visits as she aged. No one was taking new patients, but I was able to get her into this clinic, which I did appreciate. I took my cat to this clinic 12 times, and met with or spoke to four vets. From the beginning, I said I wanted to keep her comfortable as she declined. As her health deteriorated I found it odd that no vet ever recommended I bring her in for regular subcutaneo... read more

Two stars because the front desk staff is always so nice. Otherwise--unimpressed with the requirement to order medications through the online pharmacy. We have frequent mail theft in our neighborhood. I've mentioned it before (sheepishly, as I don't like to cause a hassle), and was assured it was okay. Then one of the vets had an issue with it and called me personally. I explained the mail theft thing again. Now today an item is back-ordered and I simply have to go through the online pharmacy...which charges $7 for shipping... read more

Very disappointed in the staff. I have been there 3 times. There is no care given here just assembly line care. If you want rushed in and out with no care. Pick this place. If you want decent care where ppl actually care about your animals pick somewhere else.. Do not call them with anything urgent. They don't care.

Terrible vets office. All they want is money, its like they try every option to make you pay until they get to their actual thing that will help your animal. Do not recomen.

No, no, no. Excessive charges. $19 to show me how to clean my dog's ear? All kinds of tests when 1 was sufficient? My first visit was over a grand! Plus, the doctor (Lee) I spoke to couldn't explain things when I asked questions. She didn't even look at my dog's file. I had to point out things to her. Why am I telling her to do her job?? I also asked asked about my dog's teeth, she said it was fine. Then I show her a picture of one of his gray tooth, and she said oh yeah that's bad. Well why give an assessment that it's fin... read more

SCAMMERS! If you're desperate to help your pet these people will take advantage of you and charge or overcharge you for services your pet doesn't need.

UPDATED REVIEW 3/28/2021: My first visit to Sacajawea was wonderful in 2019. I wrote a glowing review after our initial visit in late 2019 (my doggo caught giardia and the doctor was incredibly thorough and informative!) I ADORE the vets there and everyone in the office is very nice. But as they're updating their processes, and as I've now visited them several times, cracks are beginning to appear. 1. The intake form process is a hassle: It feels redundant and inefficient. It's frustrating to complete an intake form onl... read more

My cat had an appointment for vaccines. I have a baby so they offered to let me drop her off. I mentioned to them she had been puking. They proceeded to take her, then call me to tell me that a) they were going to charge for the visit plus a few for drop off (no mention of the fee before) and b) they were not going to do anything beyond the exam. Long story short, a complete waste of my time and money. Had it been mentioned earlier that they would not give her the vaccines, I would have monitored her. I can understand some ... read more

Dr. Mason diagnose my dog with severe anxiety disorder and suggested I take dog to behavioral specialist at charge $400 an hour in Portland Oregon for a virtual service. We decided to put my dog on prescription medication for two weeks but it made the dog health worse when she's only two months old at the time. I notice after I received services on the detail bill I was getting charged for items that was not even discussed with me on the phone prior at the intake or during the phone conversation after the appointment. I was ... read more
