We went to Saddle Hill about 2 weeks after their opening for lunch. They did a fantastic job with the building and and it is a beautiful venue. It has a California winery vibe to it. The menu is New American and has wine pairing suggestions.cThey offer dry whites, a sweet white, a rôse, two sparking, two fruit, 6 dry reds (coeur d'Est coming mid May/June), a Port style (coming soon), a Mead (coming soon). Four flight options for tasting. We had a big party and had a variety of food. I went with the burger and it was quite ... read more

Food was excellent and service was top notch. The work on the Tasting Room certainly showed the vision that the Saddlehill Team must have been looking for, however, a full Tasting Room would certainly be extremely loud. The only drawback I could see is the "Family Area". It is basically set as far away from the Tasting Room as it could possibly be. It really was just some picnic tables staged near the vineyards, with maybe one or two tables having umbrellas. Food and Wine service is extremely limited here. It seems that Sadd... read more

Beautiful venue. Friendly staff. Staff were having a daily meeting when we arrived. It was suggested we look around while they finished up. It was nice to to see the team building! Menu has pairing suggestions. A much appreciated detail. They offer dry whites, a sweet white, a rôse, two sparking, two fruit, 6 dry reds (coeur d'Est coming mid May/June), a Port style (coming soon), a Mead (coming soon). Four flight options for tasting. There are Alpacas to visit. Several seating options- indoors, outdoor patio with heat... read more

Just opened in my neighborhood, and it is a fabulous new winery and restaurant. The food was delicious, we had the Pastrami chicken wings as an appetizer, and the Caesar salad, and the grilled cheese. The portions were abundant. The service was excellent, oh and the wine was sooo good. I watched the vineyards being grown developed and it has evolved into the new hi light of the community.

The land for this winery is seriously so beautiful! We have been watching the build from the beginning and made reservations as soon as we could! Finally being able to get up and close, it truly is a sight to see. I'm glad they took their time on this place because it shows! Once inside, it doesn't feel like a winery. It really feels more so like an upscale restaurant! Very beautiful and large inside. I thought the idea of keeping kids separate from other diners was a nice idea, but I went on a chilly day and felt pretty ba... read more

Great atmosphere inside and the grounds are even nicer. The food was very, very good. The wine was even better. All the red wines were delicious. The services is a little slow, but it seems like they're working things out.

Great ambiance. It is on the louder side indoors, pretty echoey. For S Jersey, wine is not bad at all. Favorite was Lisa's and the Cabernet Sauvignon. Both food and wine were on the pricier side (a flight was $20). Service was great, our server Michael was super friendly. And you know what? Someone told us to order the burger. IT WAS REALLY GOOD. Loved their truffle fries too. Thanks for a great meal and welcome! Looking forward to coming back when it calms down and enjoying the outdoors.

We had a really disappointing experience, especially since it was our first time visiting. We had a 7:45 reservation and still waited about 20 minutes to be seated. The atmosphere was nice but unfortunately everything else was frustrating. Our server first brought a bottle of wine to our table that we didn't order. He then looked confused and said, "Wait, you ordered two sweet flights." Despite that, he brought out only one flight, and it was the wrong one. We clarified three separate times that we had ordered two sweet fli... read more

Business response:

Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback, and we are truly sorry that this was your experience during your first visit to Saddlehill. After reading your comments, we can understand how frustrating it was to experience service delays and repeated mistakes with your order. We regret that your concerns were not addressed more proactively in the moment, and there wasn't sufficient acknowledgement of the repeated service errors you experienced. It is especially disappointing to hear that, after hearing posit... read more
