Being an avid winery go-er, this was the worst experience of going to a winery that I had ever had. I truely cannot believe the blatant disrespect that this winery has for potential clients. Upon arriving to the winery, we notified them that we had a party of 25. They limited us to 1 picnic table but seated us and continually repeated they had 600 people coming in throughout the day. Arived around 5:50 on a Sunday, and was told that the last seating was at 5 PM. We went to the bar for a drink (standing only) and told it was last call. We left. The hostess seemed annoyed that we came in. WHY?

I had high hopes for this place. Unfortunately, we will not be returning. The second we walked in we weren't even greeted. The rude hostess Kelley needs an attitude adjustment. She is representing the winery and first impressions are everything. Doesn't say hi just rudely asks if we have reservations mind you it wasn't even busy. Then proceeds to sit us at the smallest table in the place next to bathroom and walks away. My advice, don't put an ignorant person like her at the front. First impressions are everything. The taste of the food is excellent and the vibe inside is fantastic. I went with the pink sunset spritz and my husband had the Lisa's bc we don't like cab, and we don't like Chardonnay...and the menu consisted of virtually all those types of wines. LIMITED WINE SELECTION. The spritz was good; the Lisa's was ok. Service was SLOW, food was LUKEWARM, and server had that FAKE, condescending voice that is supposed to sound friendly, but doesn't. Sorry to say, we probably won't be back.

Food and wine are subjective. Having said that, Saddlehill fell way short on both. The service was great and the facility was very nice.

We got a reservation outside after a busy and were looking forward to relaxing and trying a new place. After getting seated we wait for over 20 minutes (I am not exaggerating, we started to time it because it wasn't looking good), not a single server even acknowledged that we were there. Never got a word from anyone after we were seated. Literally the worst service I have ever experienced.

Disappointing. Noise level was unbearable. Had to lean across table to speak to my date. Acoustics are horrible. We sat for 20 minutes before a waitress took out wine order. We ordered dinner at the same time. Drinks eventually arrived and 10 minutes later asked if we were ready to order our food. I reminded her that we already ordered when we ordered wine. Good morning. I had a very disappointing experience with this winery Friday 6/14. On May 22, after my anniversary lunch there, i immediately booked my birthday celebration there. I knew family was St. Louis was coming in town the celebrate and I had been raving about this place. My experience at Saddlehill Winery yesterday was mediocre at best. I will start by saying that there was a heat advisory in place, so all outside reservations had to turn into inside reservations. Space was limited, but it was something that couldn't be helped. This was understood. I booked a reservation weeks in advance for a tasting and dinner.
