Went to Saddlehill Winery for a special occasion. First things first, their amateur and outdated contacting system is beyond frustrating. You can only reach someone through email let alone have any of your concerns or questions answered. From the lack of parking space to the owners verbally shouting at people for making a mistake. The tasting room and property are lovely, and the wine is good. The food is also decent. However, my friends and I found the hostess/assistant manager to be lacking in decorum. We did not have a reservation; however, the tasting room was almost empty when we arrived. The hostess said they were booked later in the night but reluctantly agreed to seat us then. Oh boy where to begin. This was not a good experience at all and it had nothing to do with the wine. Saddlehill segregates people with children away from the building, in an area down the hill next to the llamas. This may typically not be an issue on warmer days but it was 50 degrees with 30 mph winds when we went Saturday afternoon.
