We had reservations for 6:00 PM and had to wait for almost an hour for a table. We did the wine tasting and our Wine Ambassador was Shelbi. This girl was amazing and very informative. By the time we got to our table, we placed our order immediately and we waited a little over an hour for the food. It was such a nice day on 9/6,wife and I with friends decided to try Saddlehill Winery. Upon arriving the parking lots were packed so we figured inside would be too. There was a check-in area and a figure 12 space area to tasted or get bottles. We asked to be seated outside and were told that after we ate inside we would be able to get seating on the porch/deck, We said that we were here for wines not really food, we were told we could sit outside at the picnic table then and have wine there and order food if we liked. We had a really disappointing experience, especially since it was our first time visiting. We had a 7:45 reservation and still waited about 20 minutes to be seated. The atmosphere was nice but unfortunately everything else was frustrating. Our server first brought a bottle of wine to our table that we didn't order. I was never at the winery before and thought it would be a nice way to celebrate my husband and I's wedding anniversary. The weather started getting warmer so I thought we could sit outside and have a nice meal and wine. Too loud too expensive to small a menu. Spent my birthday so disappointed ended up barely able to speak to each other. Ended up ordering small plates since the entre menu was so limited. The wine wasn't very good not much of a taste in both flights. Once was more than enough. One time too many!!!!

I always feel conflicted by writing negative reviews; however, we had such a terrible experience celebrating my birthday yesterday at Saddlehill Winery in Voorhees, and with the subsequent response from management, I felt compelled to caution against going with a large party, or frankly at all. I have been once with friends which was also a bumpy experience, but then went with my husband for our anniversary and had a lovely time. As such he chose Saddlehill for my birthday dinner. Bad customer service-actually no customer service. Sat outside and waited a long time for a waiter/waitress. No one came so we asked to be seated someplace else. Was very disorganized all around and we wound up leaving before we even ordered. Nothing seemed to mesh here and a Very frustrating experience for something that we had looked forward to doing. I also watched several waiters not know what table to deliver food to and then just guessing. The blasting music was a complate turnoff as well.

Service is lack luster. I would not go back again. 2nd time there and service was terrible each time. With a party of 6 and we sat with 20+ wine glasses and dirty plates on our table for an extended period of time. Had to ask at least twice to have them cleared. Venue is beautiful but service is awful.

Do not waste your time or self respect by giving this location your business. Over the weekend, my family and I stopped at the winery. Giving credit where credit is due, we were a large party and they were able to "accommodate" our large size. However, what followed was blatant disrespect, barring all lines of decent humanity.
