First, the ambience is top notch. High open ceilings, tasteful modern decor and beautiful views of the vineyards. Excellent wine selection. They thought of the every detail. The food is very good- the cauliflower gratin is definitely a winner. Portions and prices are great. Thoroughly pleased with my first visit to Saddlehill. I will be back!

I definitely have mixed feelings about this winery. I wanted to love it, and did, partially. What I loved was the ambiance, how you can see horses, and that the food is farm to table. The wine was okay- the blueberry was my personal favorite, not too sweet. What was more disappointing was the "impasta" dish I got for $22 that left me still starving afterwards. It was a bowl of zucchini noodles drowned in red sauce with 3 chicken meatballs. I'm not sure that I'd come out of my way to go back here, considering it's an hour awa... read more

We ordered an assortment of different wines. The white flight was very good. The winery has high ceilings and gets very loud. It would be better if they could do something about the noise levels. The food was prepared well and hit all the right notes. They have many gluten free options. The service was excellent. Our server Roshell was gracious and accommodating, ensuring every aspect of our experience at the winery was perfect. We would come back just for the service.

Was such an absolutely beautiful day to enjoy the outdoor patio at Saddlehill. The aesthetics of the dining/tasting and even restrooms are very well done. We each opted for a flight of 4 wines and mostly enjoyed them all. Grace was knowledgeable and attentive and provided great service. As we had dinner reservations, we didn't try the food. But the cheese, nut, fig jam plate was a delicious accompaniment to the wine. Can't wait to return! 10/10

This place is soooo good! I love the service it was so good which was very shocking considering how busy it was! The food was amazing! I was shocked, again as I got the pizza! I loved the ambiance and the atmosphere!! Will be returning all the time!

A winery right in my town. As if my liver isn't being abused enough! We were lucky enough to land reservations on opening day and subsequently a few times after. While many businesses need a little bit of time to work though kinks, Saddlehilll was running like a well-oiled machine out of the gate (pardon the pun, as there are horses on the property). Went for the first time on Saturday. We sat outside on the patio. It was covered and heated which was perfect for the weather that day. The wine was amazing. I did the pick your own flight. We did some appetizers and a flatbread to share. All of our choices were great. The staff was very attentive. We even had a glass of wine at the tasting bar before we left. I'm already trying to figure out when I can get back there .

Loved the food offerings and everything we ordered was fabulous! I am not a big wine drinker but if I do partake I enjoy a sweet wine. They knew exactly what to offer me and I really enjoyed it. We sat outside on the patio. It was drizzling and about 52 degrees out. The heaters worked amazing! We were not cold at all. Went to Saddle Hill for an afternoon "happy hour". Grace our server was super nice and helpful. We sat under the heated porch. And it was more than comfortable . The inside seemed a bit loud and "echoey". But that's just me. The wine, for NJ , was good. My girlfriend and I only drank the reds though. The food was delicious.
