The land for this winery is seriously so beautiful! We have been watching the build from the beginning and made reservations as soon as we could! Finally being able to get up and close, it truly is a sight to see. I'm glad they took their time on this place because it shows! Once inside, it doesn't feel like a winery. Great atmosphere inside and the grounds are even nicer. The food was very, very good. The wine was even better. All the red wines were delicious. The services is a little slow, but it seems like they're working things out.
Great ambiance. It is on the louder side indoors, pretty echoey. For S Jersey, wine is not bad at all. Favorite was Lisa's and the Cabernet Sauvignon. Both food and wine were on the pricier side (a flight was $20). Service was great, our server Michael was super friendly. And you know what? Someone told us to order the burger. IT WAS REALLY GOOD. Loved their truffle fries too. Thanks for a great meal and welcome! Looking forward to coming back when it calms down and enjoying the outdoors.
Too loud too expensive to small a menu. Spent my birthday so disappointed ended up barely able to speak to each other. Ended up ordering small plates since the entre menu was so limited. The wine wasn't very good not much of a taste in both flights. Once was more than enough. One time too many!!!!
I always feel conflicted by writing negative reviews; however, we had such a terrible experience celebrating my birthday yesterday at Saddlehill Winery in Voorhees, and with the subsequent response from management, I felt compelled to caution against going with a large party, or frankly at all. Bad customer service-actually no customer service. Sat outside and waited a long time for a waiter/waitress. No one came so we asked to be seated someplace else. Was very disorganized all around and we wound up leaving before we even ordered. Nothing seemed to mesh here and a Very frustrating experience for something that we had looked forward to doing. I also watched several waiters not know what table to deliver food to and then just guessing. The blasting music was a complate turnoff as well.
Service is lack luster. I would not go back again. 2nd time there and service was terrible each time. With a party of 6 and we sat with 20+ wine glasses and dirty plates on our table for an extended period of time. Had to ask at least twice to have them cleared. Venue is beautiful but service is awful.
Do not waste your time or self respect by giving this location your business. Over the weekend, my family and I stopped at the winery. Giving credit where credit is due, we were a large party and they were able to "accommodate" our large size. However, what followed was blatant disrespect, barring all lines of decent humanity. We were visiting from CA and went to this winery as a family. We did not make a reservation but found an open table and decided to sit there and were told it was ok to use that table. The staff was very rude and had the worst customer service. We were waiting to place an order and the rude guy came and started to close the umbrella under which our mom and other members were sitting.
