Excellent service and delicious food. Went for lunch and enjoyed it. We had the salmon burger and sliced prime rib French dip.

Went for lunch- everything was excellent Only hiccup was wine we ordered wasn't adequately chilled. Look forward to trying for dinner. Very reasonable prices given the quality and portions-Note my frame of reference is Napa Valley, CA where I'm used to getting overcharged at overrated restaurants.

The place opened a few weeks ago. Of the few things we ordered, most of them were great. I was a little shocked when I got the bill. I should have asked how much the special costs.

I enjoyed a delightful lunch yesterday! It was my first visit and on the chilly November day, I walked inside to a pleasant, light-filled space to meet my dear friend already at a table. The menu was attractive in its design and simplicity but with a wide variety of interesting choices. The waiter could not have been more accommodating, informative, and gracious. The food was excellent -- fresh and delicious. To top it off, a surprise piece of incredible dark chocolate cake arrived to celebrate my birthday. It was all very s... read more

Sage & Salt is a new restaurant in the former Willow's location with a former Willow's employee as the new co-owner. The kitchen appears to have had an update but I was a bit disappointed to see that the awkward layout of the tables and bar are the same. If you are looking for a private or intimate dining experience, this is not the place although the outdoor seating is quite charming in nice weather. We had a dinner reservation but our table was not ready so we went to the bar for a drink first. The bar overlooks the kitche... read more

Located in the old willows bistro location. S&S is a nice addition to downtown fine dining. I say fine as it is not a cheap place to go! Having said that the food we had was really good. A nice bar menu and a huge wine by the bottle list and a nice variety by the glass too. I liked the cocktail list. They have changed up the interior since willows , I actually like it better as it seems less cramped. I loved our table over the side so you could see the rest of the place. Also still have their lovely outdoor summer seating. ... read more

I came here for a nice date night. The ambiance is very nice. The service was also very good. I ordered the legal drinking sage cocktail. It was very balanced and I loved the sage notes. We tried the beef tartar as an appetizer. I really enjoyed it. The beef had a ton of flavor and there was the right amount of crostini. I had the pork belly special. It was amazing. The curry squash they served with it, was new to me and tasty. The sauce and vegetables balanced well with the pork belly. This restaurant will be on our specia... read more

Was looking for a lunch option on a Monday for a business lunch, almost drove to Greensboro, but quite happy I found Sage & Salt. Excellent service and good ambience, while it was busy there was good privacy in comfortable booths. The food was also very nice, I had the pork schnitzel, which had an interesting (in a good way) flavor, was not at all greasy, and the perfect size. Also enjoyed a side house salad. I would definitely recommend.
