Delicious food, wait staff super nice, and great ambience but after ordering pretty much one of everything off the menu for 6 adults, we left and went straight to Biergarten to order a couple plates of fries. Super cool to look at, hard to have a conversation, and definitely left hungry!
This is one of my favorite spots in North County. They were experiencing some issues with over booking, and they more than made up for the inconvenience. Their staff and customer service are top notch! The new menu was amazing too!! Plus they always have great music.
This was our first time visiting and we knew nothing about the restaurant. We were seated quickly for our 6:00 PM reservation - it was quiet when we sat down but within 30 minutes, the place got busy. The staff were all pleasant and very hospitable. I loved our waitress (sorry, forgot her name) the food was excellent and the manager (Joey) was super friendly and a joy to speak with. We loved all the dishes and the ambiance. We will definitely visit again.
Sago has a lot of potential. There are some big buts. Lighting is a problem! The restaurant is beautifully designed but you cannot appreciate it. The food is delicious and beautifully prepared, but, it is so dark you need a flashlight to read the menu and see what you are eating. You feel like you are eating in the jungle in the dark.
