The environment was fun, but the small plates didn’t have as much flavor as I’d expect from an upscale restaurant like this.
Excellent service and food. Loved the Japanese sweet potato, Halibut, and noodles. Perfect place for a date night out. We will go again!

Had a great experience at Sago yet again. Had a bit of a problem with our reservation but Kait at the door helped us and was great with accommodating our needs. They do a great job with service and interaction.

Super pretty inside, good was great but don’t mistake this place for a restaurant it’s more bar bites- very small menu, very small portions. Keep in mind it was really loud could not hear anything my friends were saying.
The ambience and vibe at Sago is pretty cool for Encinitas. They are going for a very dark and tropical vibe, dare I say It was actually too dark but if a pricey nightclub vibe is what your look for, SAGO is it! The ceviche was fresh, spiced and delicious.
