We opted to purchase a new flute and went with Sam Ash. Although most stores were about the same price for the item, Andrew at Sam Ash was friendly and helpful both on the phone and in store. They cleaned the flute and let our daughter try it out first, and even gave a discount for purchasing the display model so we didn't have to wait for a new one. Their extended maintenance contract was so cost effective it wasn't worth NOT getting. Easy and enjoyable experience from start to finish.
