Sold my J-Bass to Sam Ash. Rec'd a fair price and purchased a used Hartke Amp, also at a nice price. Guitar specialist Jeffrey was professional and helpful. Unlike other large Music Centers, Sam Ash was more friendly and more receptive.

Sam Ash stores, at least the ones that I've visited, actually have a person in the drum department. In this case, it's a drummer with knowledge about drums, the industry, and his products. I had to order a case for a djembe which would take about two weeks to come in. Chris called me right away and I got it. All in all, a great buying experience. I was at another large music store chain, and a person from the guitar area basically told me how much he hated spending his time helping me.

Best music store around. Great stuff and great salespeople. Billy did a setup (and restringing) on my Strat guitar and it sounds like new. I bought it there 4 years ago. It's nice to know that old instruments can sound great when the guys at Sam Ash works on them.
