Great experience
We routinely go there and the staff is always polite and knowledgeable.
Sam Ash stores, at least the ones that I've visited, actually have a person in the drum department. In this case, it's a drummer with knowledge about drums, the industry, and his products. I had to order a case for a djembe which would take about two weeks to come in. Chris called me right away and I got it. All in all, a great buying experience. I was at another large music store chain, and a person from the guitar area basically told me how much he hated spending his time helping me.
As always, great shopping experience, helpful laid-back staff, low pressure, zero judgement, clean well organized store. Been shopping at Paramus Ash since about 1990. Bought all my keyboards there, I wont go elsewhere. Still waiting for the day they rename it "Tom Wooley's Music Store"... dude has been running that show since music was invented.
Chris in the drum dept was very helpful. He helped me pick a cajon drum. It sounds great and can't wait to use it for my gigs.
Chris in drums knows his stuff. He saved my gig with a simple repair of my hihat stand. Guitar Center was useless and wanted to sell me a knew one. Thanks Chris..you're cool man.
