Although I missed out on the Les Paul CM I was after David, my sales representative helped me in the right direction as to what options would make sense purchase wise. I was definitely In for a Les Paul, and he gave me a great deal on a guitar that I have been wanting for 10yrs. finally have my first real Gibson Led Paul and am very pleased with my new toy. I bought a Gibson Les Paul from Sam Ash for half of the retail price. The guitar is flawless and they provided free 2 day shipping. I bought a couple of Les Pauls from Sam Ash stores in NYC and Long Island back in the 1980s and I was very satisfied then too.
