This is fairly high priced for what you are getting. Two children, one adult and one senior was $111.00. If you want to feed the fish and animals, expect to pay - ie tokens are $27 for 10 tokens. 3 tokens to feed the alligators. . Kept fairly decently and some interesting animals - lemurs, Patagonia Mara, pakie(?) , but very light on larger fish etc. lots of stingrays if they're your thing. Outdoor petting area was closed on our trip. They try to encourage more spending at every opportunity- once you go thru the first exhibi... read more
Purchasing the tickets was easier and l3ss expensive online. The exhibits were fine, however the only thing I would change is making more accessible to be included with entry fee rather than having to pay extra with tokens.
I really enjoyed my time here. I thought it was only going to be aquatic animals, but I was pleasantly surprised to see that there were other types of animals there too. There were lemurs, iguanas, porcupines, kangaroos, penguins, peacocks and much much more.
Meh, a little good, a little bad sprinkled upon this place. The animal exhibits were good, like the lemurs and the manta rays The interactions were a little overpriced, and we only saw the lemurs The outdoor area, was small yet nice But, the place felt a little run down and dirty If you want an expensive experience indoors with animals, then come here
I came here with my family and I absolutely loved it so much that I am gonna probably get a membership. They have so many animals and the staff are very friendly and kind you, can tell they love what they do. I think the price is worth all of the experiences plus it goes towards taking care of the animals. I highly recommend this as a date night, family night, or solo quality time. I also want to give a big shout out to Alyssa and Samantha because they made my experience with my family much sweeter.
This place is ran down and way overpriced. Don't waste your time. Dirty, smelly, dark, animals look depressed, hungry and sad. There are a lot of add on fees not included in the price of admission. An arcade area and gift shop take on large sections of building. Too many employees standing around. It's an embarrassment to San Antonio.
From personal experience, I was shocked at just how much is available at this aquarium. This is also my first and only aquarium experience/visit ever. But I of course did not expect sloths, alligators, toucans, reptiles, goats, chickens, rabbits, etc. The sheer amount of space in this building is shocking. You'll find a number of fish tanks as well as open enclosures for hundreds of animals. You'll also find a bouncy castle room, a cafe, an arcade, a gift shop, and an entire outdoor exhibit. I thought it was incredibly acces... read more
Literally don't waste your time or money... idk how a $24 ticket ends up being almost $32 with all these fees they add on. I showed up at 5:30... they close at 8:00... Exhibits that had "viewing times" in exchange for tokens were closed even though it was still well within the time frame to interact with them. But two workers didn't want to be bothered with their selfie sessions. We wanted to see the kangaroo & the viewing time was 6-7 pm... at 6:15 They told us the animals had already been fed and we couldnt see them. Then ... read more
Me and my two teens loved the aquarium. Our favorite part and something we will remember forever, is hand feeding and petting the baby stingrays and skates. They were very sweet animals. We will have to go back to experience all of the interactive bird exhibits... was closed for cleaning while we were there. During the afternoon?! It was the PRIMARY reason I chose the aquarium for my daughter's birthday, but I hope we can go back. Got a discounted price by using my S.A. Pogo Pass..This aquarium has many surprises around ever... read more
