My husband and I actually got a gift certificate from our daughter for this restaurant because she heard great things about it. We were seated promptly. It is a small restaurant, and they only seat a couple of tables at a time. The service was excellent, so was the food. The menu was seasonal, so were the specialty drinks. I was glad we went in the winter, since I suspect being in Cold Spring Harbor in the summer would make parking impossible. We would definitely go back.

Love Love Love this place. Been there was lunch and dinner both equally great. Service is great owner greets everyone. The last dinner reservation we booked they called the next day to see if we were happy. So impressive
Four of us met for diner and were pleasantly surprised by the decor and ambiance of Sandbar. From the gorgeous artwork to the more than comfortable chairs, it is wonderful and so is the food. We sampled a chowder, salad and onion rings for appetizers and all received rave reviews. The choices for dinner were diverse but we stuck to 2 items; bacon wrapped meatloaf and pork chops. Our waiter, Edwin, was attentive, polite and made sure we were safe with my son's food allergies. We ordered a whole slew of appetizers and 2mains for the 4 of us. The foie gras was spectacular, but the pork chop was dry.

Very good. It small portions so don't expect to feel full when you leave. While service was fine my only issue is that when they refill your bread plate they should offer all individuals and not just one.
Need to revisit wine list. Otherwise alway top notch.
