The decor and ambiance is fantastic- very unusual. The food is equally first class and the service is perfect- What more could you want.

Perfect food and service as always. We went for my mothers 60th on a Sunday night, I was surprised they were playing vocal house instead of more ambient background music. Still an amazing time tho, wonderfully kind waitress.
Sandbar is a welcome addition to Cold Spring Harbor. Delicious dining, inspired decor. Small but varied menu and always interesting specials. Friendly servers.
Had to wait 30 minutes after the time of my reservation to be seated. My friend was complaining about paying $18 for a Patron margarita while waiting for our table.
Good, but not great. Something has changed since it first opened-not sure what...
Sandbar stands out again for me! I think of the 4 times I have had a meal at Sandbar, I might have had one unsatisfactory experience; today all was forgiven and we had a wonderful lunch ( you really have to try the duck tortillas!); Sandbar is one of the miracles of the Island and we don't have that many to brag about up here on the North Shore, so I'm a fan, and I go back!
