Great overall experience, would definitely come back again
Sandbar remains a wonderful local place for a terrific lunch; it was quite full this day so people already know this! It should become everyone’s go to when they have company in town (I did to great reaction) and just whenever you want very good food in a lovely space.
The food was delicious, however we waited 45 mins past our reservation time while the hostess needed to be reminded multiple times of our reservation as she gave our table away twice to couples that arrived well after us. Also, to add salt to the wound, a table for two sat vacant the entire night. Thus could have been seated 45 mins earlier. Also, they have bus boys acting as waiters. Over the years, This hidden gem has always afforded us a wonderful time. From a party, to a Happy Hour all the wat to a private dining experience. Warmly greeted by the blonde gal immediately, bartender was out of this world! Welcomed us immediately as a table was prepared! They were BUSY - Great services through and through. Our server was awesome. He remembered us even though we only dine here 3-4 times a year and knew what our preferences were. That was so impressive. The new menu items we tried (Cajun chicken!) were right in line with the quality and deliciousness we are accustomed to. Even though Sandbar is 30 minutes from where we live, it is always worth the trip for such a satisfying experience.
Exceeded my expectations! Food was fantastic. Juan our server was attentive but not pushy. When i asked for which item was better he was matter of fact and not wishy washy. I liked that and his pick was fantastic! Ambiance was modern and clean. Loved the entire experience! Oh and my favorite app that i order everywhere is Tuna tartare and it was superb!
Consistently delicious food , great service . Beautifully decorated place.
There were multiple steaks and the temperature was perfect on each. The apps were all flavorful. The cacio e pepe was under seasoned and that was the only complaint of the night. The cocktails were excellent. The Apple crumble dessert was the perfect balance of sweet and tart.
