great food, varied menu, great service, lovely dining room
Food outrageously terrific, as usual, no matter what you order. You will never be disappointed. Staff knowledgeable, customer friendly and the service is superb!
Great service, very good food, a friendly atmosphere, all around pleasant experience whenever we go.
We had a lovely birthday celebration lunch on a cold winter Saturday. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with a fireplace going at the far end of the dining room. Service was perfect. The three of us all ordered entrees: the Bronzino, which was delicious and generous for a lunch, the Filet Kabob, and the Scallops, which were exquisite. Can’t wait to go back!
Food and service were excellent! Beautiful atmosphere. Duck tacos, tuna tartar, and mussels appetizers were delicious and generous portions.
We made an early reservation and were happy to see they were participating in Restaurant Week. We often dine at Sandbar for their diverse menu. This night all of our favorites were featured and a few surprises. The preparation was excellent, as were the cocktails and service. This is a great spot in the heart of Cold Spring Harbor. Fresh, clean, bright decor and always a welcoming staff.

Consistently good food and service at this neighborhood gem. Beautiful space and very comfy seating makes it an even better spot to return regularly. Don't miss their Duck tacos appetizer if you go.
I love this restaurant! It is a little pricey, but we went during restaurant week so that the cost was more reasonable. I was disappointed that there was a lack of vegetables on the menu, both for the appetizers and the entrees. I did enjoy the tuna tartare and salmon I ordered, and the apple crumble for dessert was delicious. Hopefully there will be more vegetables, especially green vegetables rather than root vegetables. the next time my husband and I visit.
