Overall this was a great visit. I removed a star for a few reasons - the restaurant wasn’t very busy but it felt like the food took a long time to come out, the food was very good (not great - we had the lobster Benedict, power bowl and pigs in a blanket), and the prices felt higher than most places (and I live in NYC). Our waitress was incredibly sweet and the place was gorgeous.
I had the tacos and they were able to substitute the chicken for shrimp! They were delicious! The restaurant is so beautiful too. The service was great and the noise level was low. We went there for Father’s Day and it was very enjoyable!
Owner is very accommodating…we mistakenly made a reservation for 2 instead of 4…not only did he find us a perfect private table, but the service was impeccable & he kept checking in with us…made for a wonderful evening…thank you!
The food and service was fantastic. We had duck tacos and tuna for appetizer. You get 4 duck tacos- which were amazing . Tuna was very fresh. I had the swordfish with japanese eggplant dinner which was also great. Best eggplant ive ever had. There was so much food i had to leave half to take home. When the waiter brought the food into the kitchen, it was forgotten. The chef cooked a whole new meal to take home due to their error. The waiter was also super. I can say nothing wrong with this place. You must go
The waiter, Juan, and the kitchen worked gracefully together to accommodate complex allergy concerns. What a gift!
We are regular diners at The Sandbar and last night we brought some family members who had never dined there before. They raved about the food, loved the room and generally we had a great evening. Thanks Sandbar for making our family night out extra special

Beautiful location, fantastic well thought out menu, great ambience. Attentive and helpful service. The food is delicious and presented perfectly. We were a table of 5 - friends and family and had a great experience
