Front staff is usually nice, but after my last encounter, I will never go back. I spoke to general manager regarding the incident. I spoke to him 3 times and he has not gotten back to me yet even though he promised me that he will make sure to address the situation promptly. I thought to go this location instead of the Bronx location in hopes for better service, but clearly that's not the case. Absolutely one of the worst patient experiences I have ever had. Would give 0 stars on here, if possible. Trusted and felt very comfortable with one of the PA's at this location and have my wedding coming up in a month, so scheduled an appointment despite not living in the city. Scheduled through zocdoc and confirmed with SDG. When I got to the front desk, they said they had me down for the following Monday with a completely different doctor. I had 4 appointments with Dr. Allison Santhouse. Needless to say, after my experience, I will NOT be returning to this practice. The first visit, I went for a consultation because I've recently developed with eczema (never had it in my life before) and I was hopeful walking through the door, eager to meet with my doctor. My wife got very bad experience there. They have literally killed her skin. And after all they keep charging us because of late payment from our insurance. We are going to sue them. We have all necessary proof and pictures.... Never make an appointment with this terrible office and don't let them ruin your health.

The dermatologists are great here. Very friendly and knowledgeable. What is NOT great about this practice is their ability to see patients on time. Today I waited 50 mins past my appointment to be seen. What was most frustrating was that no-one proactively told me when I checked in or at any time afterwards that there were delays, so I was not given the option to reschedule. These people are good doctors, I'm sure, and I believe they honestly care about their patients... but what they do not care about is their patients' time. They routinely run 20-45 minutes late, and don't really seem to care. I visited today, for what will be the last time, and met with the doctor at 4:15 for a 3:40 appointment. I don't write Yelp Reviews but I'm actually Standing in this place and I am DISGUSTED. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED. The PA Heather Rivera had no respect me as the patient at all and the Dr.Bruce Heller seemed to only care about money and how I should spend it. As much as I would love to continue going here because I love Dr. Heller, I can no longer compromise the wait times. It doesn't matter what time you go -- I've tried middle of the day, early in the morning, after work, and I've always had to wait at least 20-30 (and up to 45-60) mins to be seen for my appointment. It's a complete revolving door in there and they just simply book too many to be able to keep up. Horrible receptionists! Two women working the front desk couldn't even bother looking up to acknowledge us standing there to check in, then told us they had miss- booked our appointment so we would have to reschedule! And they were so rude about it. Never going back. There are plenty of other good reputable dermatologists in the area. Look elsewhere!
