Absolutely the worst experience and very disorganized. People who work there are very rude. There was no information provided about the medication information or and when I called to ask some woman just gave me attitude and didn't apologize for wasting my time. Do not recommend.
The most ridiculous visit I have ever had in New York City. Scheduled an appointment while the doctor suddenly become unavailable that day. Customer service called and said I can schedule for another doctor on the same day. Took a leave from work to visit the facility, waited for 20 minutes after my appointment time only to be told I can't see the other doctor because of my prescription. Apparently they cannot bill the insurance company for an annual skin exam even if that is exactly what you went to the office for. So therefore, my insurance will not cover the visit without a referral. Their billing department has been incredibly difficult to work with. Don't go to Schweiger.
I agree with many other reviewers that I wouldn't recommend this place. The doc is fine when you finally get to see her, but: 1) the wait was long. Prob 45min or so. 2) I have some followup questions (right away), but was told I have to make another appt and pay the consultation fee again just to speak with the doctor. 3) I paid the fee out-of-pocket on the spot, but now getting another bill for additional payment. I chose this practice even though it was far because the doctor has glowing reviews. I wasn't seen by the doctor until 40 minutes after my appointment time. The doctor had nice bedside manner but she commented that I have more to show her. It was my first appointment with a dermatologist so I wanted to be thorough. The worst experience at this location and this is the worst experience I have ever had. I have been a patient since 2007 and gone to other practices. I have an appointment at 5:30 and I got here at 5. No one was there waiting and I could have been seen cause I came for a shot which is a 5 mins job. And then a couple walks in and taking time to fill out the application cause the application is super long and annoying. Similar to other reviews here, I would not recommend to anyone. I have been overcharged for multiple services due to issues on Schweiger's end including coordinating with the doctor on accurate / agreed upon pricing as well as itemizing payments in their records. In my case, Schweiger accused me of not paying my copay when I clearly had done that in a prior visit (the front desk just documented it wrong). Overcharged me for my visit and have spent months trying to dispute this charge, but the customer service team has had me running around in circles, sending me to different teams to talk while not solving the problem. I would definitely not recommend or come here again
Really not impressed with this office. My husband visited for a soft mass on his head. They told him to get a sonogram and come back with the results so they would know how to proceed. When I called for a recommendation for a radiologist, they couldn't provide that. They also couldn't find my husband's records - they said they had changed software and lost some information in the process.
