I needed a skin cancer check and called Schweiger. I was fortunate enough to get booked with Dr. Heller. One visit and I was convinced that Dr. Heller woud be my dermatologist forever. He was very, very detailed in his examination, explaining all as he proceeded. He provided the prescriptions and instructions for care that I needed and I left Dr. Heller feeling a great sense of relief that I had received such compassionate and complete care. Susan Hirsh is an amazing PA . I like to think of her as a doctor because she cured me and I am all better and finally regained my confidence. Unfortunately I am upset she wont be there anymore after January 6 and I am really considering another dermatologist office if I cant get someone like Susan Hirsh!!!! Why must she leave??!!!!

PA Dr Susan Hirsch is the best dermatologist I have ever been to. She is so nice, down-to earth, honest, funny, and caring. I am used to doctors being cold and distant. She treats you like a real person and makes you feel like she is really there for you, doesn't make you feel rushed or that you are bothering her with all of your questions. She takes the time time to care, and she treated my condition and it has been fully healed, and I never got these results from another dermatologist before. I am a transplant recipient and the anti-rejection drugs just seem to love to make SCCs and BCCs. I have been going to Schweiger for years for my annual (and more often) skin screenings and I just finished my latest string of Mohs peocedures. I highly recommend this place. Maybe I'm new to this office structure but I had never been a fan of having PA's under the supervision of a Dermatologist give me my annual skin checkups. I always felt it was better to be seen personally by the actual doctor. However, my recent visit to Schweiger Dermatology has made me rethink this position. I initially made an appointment with Dr. Heller because I wanted an overall skin check but I also suffer with adult and I'm currently under treatment. My first encounter and every encounter thereafter has been a pleasant experience! He listens to my concerns, he asks me what I think and how I feel which makes me feel incredibly comfortable. Most important, unlike other doctors' visits, there is no long wait time! AND, he has early hours so I can see him and get to work early which is important to me!

I have been a patient of Susan's since I moved to the city three years ago. Susan spent time understanding my concerns and developed a fantastic treatment plan that gave me the results I was looking for in a reasonable time period. Susan was also able to work with budget and/or insurance restrictions with me. I followed Susan from FiDi to the Broadway office and would not go anywhere else! She is the absolute best.
