Paid $15 copay for each visit. (2 visits) I get a bill 3 weeks later saying that I owe $25. I call them and they inform me that I don't owe $25, but I owe $50 and the bill is wrong. Ok....you get the amount wrong during my visits (2 visits), get the amount wrong again on my bill that i'm not happy about and now i'm waiting for "the correct bill" that can potentially be wrong again... First time patient here and I was able to get booked the day after I called to make an appointment. I saw Lena Metcalfe. She was so lovely and took the time to listen to what I had to say. I went in for a mole removal and wanted to ask her about my skin while I was there. Didn't feel a thing when she removed the mole and she gave me a sample for a topical medicine for my acne to make sure it works before giving a prescription. This practice is phenomenal! I had an appointment with Lena who is very thorough! She has incredible bedside manner, is an expert especially with calming breakouts, she listens, and she provided a tailored plan for me. Dr. Rachael Cayce's practice is amazing! The front desk always answers promptly. Very detailed after care instructions were provided to me by Tori who is very proficient as well. I will certainly be back! I recommend DTLA Derm confidently!

Received a call from the Office Manager (i am assuming) who read my review, and he apologized. That means a lot to me that they took time out of their busy schedules to call and apologize. He stated he has talked to the staff about this issue and it will hopefully not happen again. Updated my review to 4 stars .. thank you!

I couldn't ask for a better dermatologist. This office is clean and hip and the people working there are kind and useful. I've come in four times over the past month because of a long-term allergy test. Each time they remembered me and I was seen within 5 minutes. I always Lyft because I don't want to have to park downtown but I don't live too far so it works out. I brought my friend there for his skin and they were great, extremely kind, great bedside manner, (as they call it) im going to go back for some cosmetic, if I dont chicken out.

I'm being fair when I give them 1 star because of the actual Doctors who were pretty knowledgeable and decent. But the bad review is about the whole process of visiting the business and care afterwards. They have nurses there who ask you questions but never really listen to the answers or your concern. They seem to just shuffle patients in and out of the office. My real problem was when they gave me my prescription they never instructed me on the procedure on how to pick up the prescription. Rachael is WONDERFUL, kind, caring, not trying to rob you, and incredibly knowledgeable about her practice. As someone who has been going to the dermatologist for 8 years now, I can say that the specific information she provided me regarding products and options were far beyond her necessary call of practice. The waiting room is so nice, as are the front desk workers. I was very skeptical about this place before coming in, given its multitude of glowing reviews. I mean seriously DTLA Derm has almost 5 stars. I thought some of the reviews may have just been from employees or friends. Also, I've never been to a private practice till this point since I had Kaiser insurance for basically my whole life and was worried that they would push products as a cash grab.
