I came in for an appointment and was kept waiting for over 45 minutes in the waiting room. The secretary was very short with me when I asked about the wait. Terrible customer service!!
Definitely would not recommend. Had a skin biopsy in the Salinas office and then was told Dr. Wahlgren had moved to the Ryan Ranch office and I needed an appointment there to have the stitch removed. After I had it removed my a medical assistant I asked to talk to Dr. Wahlgren and was told I would need an another appointment. Just to ask her a quick question about the biopsy and removal. I then went to make the appointment and they didn't have any available for weeks out. I had just had the biopsy and wanted to know my r... read more
Poor front desk service!! Appt. given a month out for 11/9 but got a call I could come in at 8:10 11/2/15 the day after daylight savings. I left house early to allow for commute traffic and heavy rain. Arrived at 7:20 so waited in car until 8. Office locked and dark. Sent text At 8:16 that I was waiting in my car. Saw office light switch on and went in. Told I needed to go to office upstairs. After waiting 20 more min. told the Dr. couldn't see me and they would squeeze me in at 8:10 11/27. Are they friggin' kidding me. I wi... read more
I'm with Kaitlyn B. on Dr. Wahlgren. From their website it seems the "other" office is Pebble Beach. My guess is she is more interested in pumping Stepford Wives with botox then actually being a doctor and helping people with skin disorders.
I had Dr. Wahlgren, she performed a biopsy on one of my moles. She spoke to me like I was a child the whole time, telling me she was doing a removal instead of a biopsy. She injected me with the shot to numb the area and immediately started. I told her I could feel it and she waited only a few more seconds before slicing again. It will now likely scar. I've had 4 biopsies before and never have they needed such a large sample. When I removed the bandage, I saw she took a huge portion of my mole off just for a biopsy. I was no... read more
Oh my goodness...I see others have the exact SAME problems I've been having for the last few months with this office. I've been patient and understanding but today is the THIRD time I've had problems with a lab order from this clinic. My daughter sees Dr. Wahlgren for acne. For her to begin her medication, she was required to have two blood draws a month apart and then blood draws every 30 days. I was given the paper order and told that once it was entered at the hospital lab, it was a standing order for the duration of trea... read more
I am a patient of Dr. Christina Wahlgren. Dealing with this office is always extremely difficult; getting paperwork for blood work faxed, scheduling appointments, getting prescription refills, etc. In person, the doctor is nice and seems understanding, so I'm not sure if the problem lies with her or her staff. I'm not sure why, but the office continually seems to forget that they were supposed fax papers or call something in to the pharmacy, and then when I call to follow up, they act as though they have no clue what I'm tal... read more
Administratively terrible! The first time I went they had no record of my appt but Dr. Freeney was in the front office and overheard me, and saw me. The second time I went they had no record of my appt again! So I produced the handwritten card they had given me and I got to see the Dr! On Feb 24 I wanted to see Dr Freeney for follow-up but she has left the practice and I got an appt with Dr. Maldonado for 11:45. At 12:30 I was still sitting in the waiting room. I told them I had mandatory training at work at 1 P.M. and... read more
I am writing about Dr. Maldonado. After waiting for 45 minutes, she breezed into the room with not even a " I'm sorry for the wait". She with me all of 5 minutes. The quickest exam I've ever had. I won't go back. I happen to be 66 years old and on Medicare. I'm aware that Medicare doesn't pay doctors much, but have some class lady.
