If I can give ZERO stars I would. Wasn't happy with this place. The lady at the front (closet to entrance) was rude. Was told they took our insurance at the time when I made the appointment over the phone only to get to the appointment saying that they don't. I had to drive almost 45 minutes to get here, so I was very upset. It felt like my daughter was rushed out of there with what we went in there to get checked. on My first visit I showed up 15 minutes early to get the paperwork done so we could start on time, but everything happened so fast I was in and out of the room before I could even finish. The doctor barely looked at me and just told me all the side effects of every medication I could take and handed me a slip for blood work (which they don't do). I can't even begin to say how wonderful Dr. Bolante is! I had a cyst on my head and she removed it so gently that I didn't have any pain and it has healed and you'd never know I had surgery! I also see Dr. Bolante for Beautification as I like to refer to keeping myself look young. She never makes me look like I had anything done. I just look refreshed. Was referred to CSI-Monterey by my GP last Wednesday. No call from them by Monday so I called my GP who gave me a direct number. Called Monday and went to recorded message that repeatedly said my call is important and please stay on the line. 6 minutes later, the message changed to nobody available to take the call and to please leave my info and they would be in contact within 24 hours. Left my info. 2 days later, no return call. What kind of outfit is this? They will not get my business.
Just got off the phone with a Kelly at the front desk. Called to get a general price estimate on a skin service. The answer given was "we can t give you an estimate.". Seriously, so you refuse to give clients any ball park figures so they can be absolutely blind sided by the cost once said service is done? Wow, good luck with your "customer service". I will not be calling back much less considering this place due to the passive aggressive vibe I was met with over the phone.

I have yet to work with a specialist that spent more than one minute with me in the examination room. Both times I waited over ten minutes after my appointment time, only to be glanced at for a few seconds and get sent off with a prescription to the wrong pharmacy after I've told them which pharmacy I go to. Such a waste of time and co-pay.
Dr. Wahlgren (now married, and goes by a different name, but I can never remember it), is the absolute best! I've been coming here for two years to get Botox after initially going to the Salinas location. Absolutely DO NOT go to Salinas! The Salinas location charged me $600 to do what Dr. Wahlgren could do for $180. She has a very gentle hand, and only does what is necessary, she talks to you, and tells you honestly if you need the procedure or not. I paid my $40 co-pay to see a dermatologist about having a wart on my palm removed. He said no problem- burned it off, and I was on my way. A couple weeks later I received a bill for almost $200 calling my wart removal: skin surgery. What a Mutha Lickin' rip off!!! Californai Skin Institute on 9871 Blue Larkspur Lane is the Doctor's on Duty of Dermatology. Wait longer, get in to see someone with a legitimate practice.
This is a mixed review. Because I go to this shop for dermatology and have been pleased. However, I went there to get my eyelids cosmetically corrected and was more than disappointed. I had a doctor who, unbeknownst to me, had one foot out the door. The procedure was done with a local and my left eye is perfect. However, during the right eye procedure the local started wearing off. Instead of giving me more, he just didn't do the eyes the same.
