One of our windows was not closing properly. Victor came and immediately identified the issue and within 30 minutes, had the window fixed and operating. I had a handyman come through for other fixes around the house a few days before finding Scientific and had him look at the window. The handyman indicated the window was warped and he couldn't fix it. Scheduled an appointment to get an estimate on our entire house with full frame Marvin windows & patio doors. Jon arrived on time, he measured all windows & patio doors, we indicated to Jon that we wanted one of our picture windows changed out to a patio door. The job consisted of 9 double hung, 2 picture windows & 3 patio doors for a approx. cost of (22k) per other quotes we received. Jon indicated he would have the quote complete the following week. They called ahead to tell me that the new windows were ready and set a date for installation. Two men arrived on time and installed my new windows. There were no problems, they picked up after themselves and did a great job. The company representative came out about an hour after I called as one of my windows had been broken with part of it broken out and the rest loose and potentially dangerous. He patched up the hole and caulked around the remaining glass to hold it place until the new window could be installed. After he m... read more

I called twice the girl who answer the phone said someone would call me back. But no one did. I went into the store and asked to see someone about a storm door. Was told the salesman was out, someone from the factory floor came out and talked to me. He showed me some doors on the shipping dock and when pressed said he didn't know anything about storms doors he supervised the making of windows. He said that he would have the salesman call me. No one did. I wanted a storm door for the front door of my house.

UNSATISFACTORY. WE WERE QUOTED A FEW DAYS TO HAVE THE JOB COMPLETED AND IT TOOK THREE WEEKS. THE WORKMAN ON THE JOB WOULD SOMETIMES NOT COME, HE INSTALLED SCREENS WITH HOLES IN THEM, LEFT MARKER WRITING ON WINDOWS, LEFT GOBS OF CAULK ALL OVER AND DID A CHEAP AND TERRIBLE JOB ON THE INTERIOR SILLS SURROUNDING THE DOUBLE-HUNG WINDOWS. WE HAVE HAD OTHER WORKMEN COME TO INSPECT THE QUALITY OF THE WORK, AND THEY SAY IT IS UNSATISFACTORY. UPON COMPLAINING TO THE SALES REP WHO SOLD US THE WINDOWS, HE WOULD ONLY COMP US $300.
