Update: I was contacted by the owner in response to my initial review. He explained that he was disheartened to hear about my experience, and that it shouldn't have happened. I still stand by my rating as my dog was subjected procedures without my consent, but at the very least it shows that perhaps someone at that business cares about customers (other than Dr. Udoji, of course). Update -- the manager called and did say it was a misunderstanding an credited me some money which was a nice gesture. If you choose to go there I would suggest that you work out the pricing beforehand so its not a shock.

I got a VERY RUDE response from someone involved with these hospitals. I was sent private messages, so to cover my ass I am changing very slight words in case I am not allowed to publicly show his message. The quotations are not verbatim, but it is what he said. My response to him comes right after the quotation marks & --. I came in with my new puppy who had kennel cough and they pressured me into a ton of unnecessary tests and Xrays by making me feel guilty ("if you really cared about your dog...") I walked out of there with a $540 bill for something that would have cleared up on its own, as I was told by a different vet. They would have charged me more for a surgery they told me he needed (because he had gas in his stomach -- really?!) but told me to come back the next day for it and I did not. I wanted to take a moment to respond to this posting on Yelp by Barb B. The posting was dated July 7 but refers to a visit that took place on the afternoon on Saturday March 2, 2013. The dog, a 7 month old male Chihuahua, had been vomiting for about 15 hours with 12 episodes occurring in the last 6-8 hours. The puppy was known to eat things he shouldn't, and the owner said he had also been coughing for 3 days.
